Taco Teresa's is exactly what the name says. They excel in tacos, burritos, and fajitas. I will start off by saying you might have to clean the table you want to sit at because at busy times, they don't have time it seems to clean. You order at the register, and someone brings out your super authentic Mexican cuisine. The chip bar and lots of salsa are available while you wait. They were very good chips and the variety of salsas didn't leave you bored at all. They didn't have fountain soda, so cans or Jarritos were the options. The Jarritos were a great option to go with the grub. The chicken fajitas were amazing. So much food. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The beans had a bit of zip to them, so be careful. The Chimichanga was again great. Everything tasted exactly like you would want them to and imagine real Mexican to taste like. My one problem was with the Pollo Tamlae. Tamales are my favorite food items, but theirs didn't hit at all. The corn meal was extra dry, and there was little to no chicken in the tamale. It was a complete letdown. It was ultra bland and for the cost, not even close to worth it. The Churros were what you thought they'd be. I recommend everything but the Tamale. Go have a quick bit at Taco Teresa's. You won't...

Gave this place a try. Not sure if it was an off day or an hour or so before close, but the overall meal was not very good.

Street Tacos - Chicken and Carne - Both dry. You have to load up on salsa and or sour cream to get them down. Also, just lacked flavor and were really bland.

Torta (pastor) - No effort at all to toast the bun or make it unique. With the bun being so soft, then loads of avocado, made it a complete mess to eat. The pastor was decent and certainly better than the dry chicken.

Burrito (chicken) - Same dry chicken. Saved by other burrito fillings, mainly the rice which did have a nice flavor on it's own. For the price, nowhere near worth it.

Tres Leche Cake - This was the best of the meal. Not worthy of a special trip to get it, but good. Some type of fresh fruit topping could make it special.

Sauces - Subpar at best. Just bland flavors. Nothing special.

Overall, not very good and not worth the cost. Not sure about all the high reviews. Temper your expectations if you're looking for authenticity and...

I sure hope this isn’t supposed to be authentic Mexican tacos. It leads me to believe that they think they are since they also sell an “American taco.” I ordered from this establishment via DoorDash. This was the first time ever eating their food. This was a very bad experience.

The Refried beans were soupy and spilled. I’ve NEVER had refried beans swimming in liquid.

The rice was flavorless. No seasoning, very bland.

The churro bites were burnt.

The Tres Leches cake was a poor example. I dated a Mexican woman who made this from scratch. Yours was barely a boxed cake mix with a little drizzle of moisture. Very dry.

The complimentary chips that came with were in desperate need of salt. There wasn’t a single grain of salt to be found.

The street tacos were the highlight, and even they were mediocre at best.

If I had dined in, I would have insisted for a full refund. I will never visit or order from this restaurant again. Judging from the rave reviews, this Mexican experience truly is for the Minnesota bland...

This is a neat dive with really decent food. It is in a great location just across from the ridgedale mall. I have been hear a couple of times and on my most recent visit i ordered a elote, something that I was really happy was on the menu, I also ate a tamale. The people that I went with ordered a burrito and a torta/ sandwich is was a generous size and I think next time I am going to try a torta for myself. There are chips and an exuberant amount of salsas to try while waiting for your order, this was my favorite part of this outing. There is a good amount of seating. I am glad that this restaurant is doing well post-pandemic the food they provide is an attribute to society. This is a nice place to eat a meal at, it was a good family environment and a good place to take kids. This is a nice place to come, don't plan on making a meal out of a single tamale but it's a good vibe to kick back. I would stop here again if I was in this neighborhood.

Beautiful restaurant. The inside is so bright and clean it is refreshing. They also installed a beer wall and a chips and salsa wall, wonderful additions. The only reason for 3 stars was the food quality wasn’t the same as the past visits. The steak was dry, the other meats we had lacked seasoning. Also we ordered to elotes and the people in my group who ate them literally spit it out, they complained of the corn tasting disgusting like it was watery and been sitting in water or something all day. The employees there were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return because my first visit the food tasted a lot better hopefully they just had an off day today. Either way it is worth a visit if you are visiting the ridgedale mall or anything nearby. It is pretty pricey. Just myself and my daughter was $50. My friend, his girlfriend and 3 kids (2 being kids meals) was almost $100.
