The food is delicious. I went in for the first time today so I didn’t really know how to order. I saw other people lined up by the other end so I figured I order there first instead of the cashier (similar to chipotle or subway). The guy at the register was very kind, very chill. My only issue was a lady helping me with my food. It wasn’t a huge deal because I understand people have their bad days but it did bother me enough that I felt the need to write a review. There was a bit of attitude when I asked for my food. Like I said, I never went in before, but my mom recommended a “lunch special with curry chicken, white rice, salad, and plantains”. I never looked at the menu before but she ate here before so I took her word for it. I’m not sure if I ordered incorrectly or if I said something wrong, or I don’t know what I did wrong, but the lady looked like she just didn’t want to be there. Then I noticed that each of my boxes only came with 1 singular piece of plantain. Again, I didn’t make a fuss about it because I thought “maybe that’s part of the lunch special”. But looking at the pictures online, there are at least 3 pieces of plantain. The lady wasn’t rude, she just wasn’t very welcoming, so I don’t want to say she put less food to spite me, but it does feel like I got less food than what I asked for. Authentic Flavor, Warm Vibes – A Must Try!

I had an incredible experience at the new Golden Krust in Miramar Park! From the moment I walked in, the aroma of authentic Caribbean cooking hit me, and I knew I was in for something special.

I ordered the jerk pork—perfectly seasoned with the right balance of heat and smokiness. The cow foot and skin soup was rich, hearty, and full of bold, comforting flavor. The salt fish freta was fried to perfection—crispy, savory, and satisfying. The coco bread was soft, buttery, and just melted in my mouth.

And let’s talk about the beef patty—absolutely amazing! Flaky crust, juicy filling, and full of flavor in every bite. Hands down one of the best I’ve had.

Found myself in Pembroke Pines, starving on a Saturday night and on the hunt for something special since I was in the burbs. I was not expecting this fire Jamaican spot, I heard FLL was. A haven for good Jamaican food but I wasn’t in Lauderdale. Pull up and GK is absolutely spotless, with warm friendly service and huge portions of delicious food. I had the curry goat, it was excellent, the stew gravy was flavorful without being overpowering, meat was tender, rice and peas perfect and the cabbage was delicious too. Hit the spot.
