Today we decided to try a different Smoothie King than our normal location, this was a grave mistake. The tall man with a heart tattoo on his neck who took our order seemed like he was forced to be there and had an angry expression, his attitude was absolutely insane. Not even a hello how are you, just took our order with a sour attitude and didn't even know how to properly train one of the new employees, the first acai bowl that I got wasn't the texture it was supposed to be, it was literally like flavored water. When we pointed this out he tried to make up excuses, first it was that the blender they brought in was different and not doing it properly, then he made up a different excuse that it was the recipes fault. Completely unprofessional and Smoothie King is not cheap, if I pay 25 dollars for two small bowls, then it better be at least decent quality so it's worth it. And maybe if the customer service was better I would have eaten it, but now I know why this location is empty in the first place. He led with “there’s going to be a wait time”. Then I proceeded to tell him what I want on my açaí bowl like I always do and he told me look at the menu and choose a bowl. He then said, “I only know the names. I don’t know what’s in them.” Very rude. Very unfriendly. Never have I ever! There were people behind me and I could not believe how he handled me. We asked why and the guy behind the counter, who was very nice and helpful, was interrupted by a rude girl with black hair who said verbatim “if you leave the drink too long it looses flavor”. She started to gaslight us about why it was our fault why the drink had no flavor. Again, we picked up the drink after 7 min of placing the order.
