My comment is regarding the lack of respect and professionalism of Angelica, the supervisor of that store. I went with my receipt to return some items purchased in that same store and the supervisor falsely accused me of stealing, spending a very long time reviewing the items even though the description of the products correctly matched the receipt and all the items were in perfect condition. It was not enough for her when she told me that one of the items did not match the receipt that she had to check the camera, I agreed because I wanted to show her that she was the one who was mistaken and that it was bad work effort on her part because she didn't even identify whether the product was correct or not. When we checked the cameras we saw that everything was perfect with my purchase, but for her it was not enough and at that moment she accused me that in my shopping bag I had taken a product that was not mine and that I had not paid for, to her I said to look at the camera closer and verify what she was saying because that was not true, that I had not put that product in my shopping bag. The person who was in charge of checking the camera also said the same thing as her, without looking for a solution despite me saying that they would check it carefully. I asked them to call another person in the store and they called her explaining their point of view and not mine, so I asked the other lady to zoom in on the camera to show that the product was never put in my bag. and fortunately the lady realized from the first moment that the product had been from the previous client and had been kept in another bag that was not mine. I do not understand how people like Angelica have such little tact in working with others, showing such little professionalism, the function of a supervisor is to respond to the company's interests but most importantly maintaining good customer service. I must make it clear that after the incident one of the stores attendees profusely apologized, however , Angelica did not make any effort whatsoever to apologize and continued to believe her false accusations even after being proven false...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe loss prevention staff needs significantly better training; especially when there is more loss prevention staff than there are cashiers! I have never been so insulted in my life. I was at this Miramar location today around 1:45/2pm-ish, with my fiancee. My receipt reads that I checked out at 2:21pm. Having had 0 luck finding towels at the next-door Marshalls or Homegoods, we resigned ourselves to going into Ross since it was in the same plaza. With that said, we didn't expect to get lucky at Ross, so we didn't grab a cart on the way in. However, once we got to the towel aisle, there was a very nice set of Calvin Klein towels, so I went back up to get a cart. As soon as I got back to the towel aisle, a not so slick member of loss prevention basically runs up on me and clears his throat from about 5 feet away. I paid him no mind as I really wasn't in the mood to go off on him. I continued to get stalked through another few aisles before he went in a different direction. It was unbelievably offensive and unnecessary. I understand this staff doesn't know me from Adam, but I don't see why I would have been a target. I was a well dressed, yet undecided shopper. My fiancee was overheated after walking around, so she separated from me and took a seat. Some 25 years ago, when I was a teen, I worked at TJ Maxx and I'm very familiar with loss prevention- our team was significantly better and much better trained. I take it as an affront and I'm actually surprised that I still bought towels (with an AMEX Platinum, mind you) from this store, instead of just walking out. I have never stolen anything in my life and am disgusted at how I was treated. I will never shop at this location again. This staff needs significantly better training! They should check the cameras and I should...
Read moreI visited this Ross store a few times. When I enter the store I never get a friendly vibe upon entering this vicinity. It is always a side eye from the security standing in the front of this establishment. They do have a few good pieces of clothing within the store I cannot discredit them on that. I went in and I was walking around in the sport section of the store because I wanted to see their collection for sports wear. Me personally I would purchase workout clothing from almost any department store. I really do not have a preference when it comes to my sporting clothes. That section is very well diverse because you are able to find various brands within those clothing racks. I honestly do not know for everything else because I do not go there for that. They also have some items within the home décor section that you can snag that are convenient for any home style or location. I know they have step ladders and other little items you may want to pick up. The variety for each store varies and I have noticed that as well. I am not a huge fan of Ross store because like most of these department stores they are very messy. This one is a little bit cleaner than the average Ross store. However I did not like the way this security guard kept watching. There are so many people that are coming in and out of the store. Why are you so fixated on me in particular? What is the obsession with me? I do not like the feeling of being within a store and someone is highly fixated on me and solely me. It will make me not spend my money at all. I would walk out and leave without purchase because of the high level of fixation. There are other places that would happily welcome...
