Visited icy n spicy for the first time today and the first impression was that the visual is very aesthetically pleasing, with e everything perfectly appointed to take you back to a whimsical childhood era. The decor and colors are so fun and sure to bring out the kid in anyone.

Our order was taken by Amanda and she was very pleasant and helped us navigate the menu as it was not the easiest to read and understand. She was also very patient and explained to us what things were, answering all our questions and also gave recommendations.

The ice cream itself was too soft for scooped ice cream. The texture was just like soft serve and to get it in a cone there was an upcharge. The cone wasn’t worth it, I thought it was going to be a fresh rolled cone like the ones cold stone do. The flavors of ice cream were a bit off as well, I had high hopes for the cotton candy but the flavors ratio was off and gave that bitter bite at the end much like dyed frosting with a bright colored dye. My daughter got a salted caramel shake and my husband got the scoops but they said it was very lackluster. The mango sorbet was pretty good, which is what I had.

A friend had a flat experience with the product as well but wanted to try it for myself. Overall, beautiful interior but the ice cream can use some tweaking especially for the price point. Try it out and see...
