Ordered ahead online for pickup, so I didn't really interact with the staff or focus on the restaurant interior. Though I don't think they're currently doing dine-in.
If I'm not mistaken, this is the only restaurant in Broward county that has the new Beyond Meat Chicken tenders which are currently restaurant only. This is the reason I wanted to check them out in the first place. Seeing they also had both vegan and gluten free options made me even more excited to order.
I ended up getting an order of Beyond chicken tenders with marinara sauce as well as a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni with roasted garlic.
I generally don't go out of my way for meat based chicken tenders so imagine my surprise when I couldn't get enough of these plant-based tenders! Even with just marinara sauce, (again, something I don't go out of my way for) this was a really solid choice! I honestly don't think one can really tell the difference between these and actual chicken tenders. Texture and flavor are seriously on point eaten plain as well as accompanied by sauce. I actually made my own vegan buffalo sauce to try out with them and I was again wow'd.
So the pizza I believe uses Daiya brand cheese which has gotten exponentially better over the years. I wasn't a fan of Daiya when they first rolled out but they've really improved their flavor and texture the last couple years so it's a legitimately a good choice for vegan cheese on pizza. As for the pepperoni they use Field Roast brand which is a phenomenal choice. Great herbs and spices used in it with a nice texture fit for pizza. I'm currently dealing with Crohn's disease so I try to make food choices that are easier for my insides to handle which is why I sprung for the gluten free crust. On the thinner side compared to the "average pizza." I'm not sure how this restaurants other crusts are so I can't compare. But this crust has a good chew without being too crispy or overly chewy. Also none of those weird aftertaste flavors some gluten free stuff can have.
Will try this restaurant again. Really hoping I can get those Beyond chicken tenders in a sandwich. Fingers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove letter toā¦.. I mean appreciation post to Sarpinoās pizzeria. It was a humid and slightly cool Florida night when my husband and I were debating on what to eat. We normally meal prep, but after a long and festive weekend eating out seemed like the most pleasant and least tiresome option. My husband found a deal at a restaurant that will not be named (because all spotlight belongs to Sarpinoās at the moment) and I, craving pizza, searched up pizza spots near me. Like a shining beam of light, Sarpinoās popped up.. a name Iād never heard of prior. My curiosity was peeked and my cheeks also peeked at the realization Iād be getting a discount on my first order.
Fast forward to the pizza⦠I normally am a backwards pizza eater. Meaning I always eat the crust first to save the best part for last. However, eating Sarpinoās pizzaā¦. Even taking the first bite. I realized I had stumbled upon a gold mine and could no longer eat the pizza backwards because the crust was apart of the best part of the pizza. Everything was the best! Let me explain everything the pizza was. This pizza had a crunchy but airy crust that packed a subtle flavor that was still strongly delicious, the dough was soft with a slight crunch, the sauce was well seasoned complimented by just the right amount of cheese. I ate an entire personal size 8ā and felt as though I had a real meal with quality ingredients. It was so delicious that my husband went back the next day and we devoured a 10ā in the parking lot. We didnāt even make it in the house. He was astounded as we had been on the hunt for a while for an amazing pizza spot in South Florida. Today is day 3 and heās mentioned wanting Sarpinoās about 5-10 times. Unfortunately we wonāt be getting our 3rd box until this weekend š LOL
Thanks for straying away from the following: Tough crust, burn marks, flavorless sauce, greasy/tastes unhealthy, an overdose of cheese
Canāt believe we found pizza this good! Didnāt think weād be able to. Keep doing your thing Sarpinoās. you have...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI don't know if you have a new cook but its been 5 times now that we've ordered and it keeps coming WRONG. You need to read the orders. I order a simple pasta with plant based sausage and its terribly pissing me off that everytime you keep sending it without the sausage. The refunds and sending new orders is appreciated. But when someone is hungry at home and had a hard day of work and doesn't want to cook and we decide to depend on you to order food the orderes need to be correct can't just refund each time. You are effectively sending me a PLAIN pasta because since I'm ordering vegan food I don't order cheese. Somehow you read the part of no cheese perfectly each time but not the sausage. It pains me to leave a bad review because there's a really nice girl that works there that apologizes each time.
If it's happening to my order FIVE TIMES.... then anyone that orders that keeps receiving it WRONG too. You need to speak with your cooks and tell them to READ the orders. This really sucks because I love your food. PLEASE FIX THIS AND I'LL CHANGE RATING TO A 5 STAR š HOW YOU SHOULD BE. PLEASE š ADDRESS THIS WITH YOUR COOKS.
5 TIMES is embarrassing.
This time I'm not driving over with my food while on hold because last time your phones was down and I'm also not waiting on you to redeliver, instead I'll fix my pasta by making something to add to it which defeats the god damn purpose of ordering delivery. This time I just wanted to be refunded and next time I'll think twice about ordering from you again.
I'll politely accept apologies with a notice of your promising to speak to your cooks. Outrageously unacceptable.
4/21/25: Big improvement. Can't comment in atmosphere as I always order delivery. They don't mess up anymore, and again their food is great even my friends order when they come over because they know it's one of the best options nearby and there's a lot of...
