I highly recommend avoiding this location. The service is absurd.
I placed an order for two kids meals and two 6" sub meals. The cashier rang us up incorrectly, adding two drinks instead of two meals to the order. I didn't catch this, as I couldn't see the screen and didn't look closely at the receipt. I assumed the total was correct, as it was close to what I would have expected and hadn't tried to total it in my head.
The food was moderate for a Subway. However...halfway through our meal, one of the employees approached our table and (somewhat incoherently) demanded I return to the counter to pay the difference due to the cashier's mistake. The difference was $1.86. Numerous other customers around us were commenting somewhat loudly how absurd and inappropriate such an action was. I paid the $1.86 and continued with my meal, a bit frustrated with how the staff had just treated me.
I understand this is likely a low-paying position, fast food is not exactly glamorous, and neither is working inside a Subway inside a Wal-Mart. With that said, customer service is customer service. If an employee makes a mistake that costs $1.86, the restaurant should just eat the cost. It's not like I was not charged for an entire meal or something, and yet I was being treated as if I walked out without paying for my order. Apparently this location only accepts certain subway coupons which excludes roast beef sandwiches I placed an order on the app and used my coupon code for a footlong roast beef sandwich which worked. I’m a very picky eater so I just got roast beef and American cheese that’s it. Took 25 mins for my order to be ready and there was no one else in the restaurant I was shopping inside Walmart while waiting and could see no one else was there. I picked up my sandwich and went back to my hotel opened it up and there was only 3 slices of roast beef on the entire footlong. It was extremely obvious the worker tore the meat into halves and meticulously placed them on the bread to make it seem like there was more meat than there actually was. Also there were only 2 pieces of cheese on it. It’s obvious the worker was upset that I was able to order a footlong roast beef on the app using a coupon code contrary to the store rule. Read morePlaced an online order of almost $40.00 at this location and it was horrible! Picked up order and got home in a whole nother state to find a bunch of veggies on all subs and barley any meat. One that was suppose to have more meat and literally had enough for a 6 in. sub. I will never order from here again! To make it so bad I called them way before they closed to notify them of this and the girl didn't understand anything I was saying and hung up on me. I continued to call and no answer, before I was hung up on I was told that an manager will be in the next day 3/7/23 at noon. I called the next day and was told oh the manager isn't in, but I will talk to the manager about the situation.
I get a call 3/8/23 saying well I looked at the cameras and it was meat put on the sandwhiches. My problem wasn't that, it was that only enough was put on there for a 6 in. sub after I ordered a footlong. If you want your sub correct go to another location. They weren't even considered of anything that I said, not an apology or is there something I could do!!!...
