Read moreI don't remember if I went to a sushi place with all you can eat. I don't know why I accepted the idea and went for it. I went with some young people and followed their recommendations since they were here before. I love spicy tuna and that is it. Sure I try all the other ones, but I know a good spicy tuna. Food arrived and it was a mountain of sushi. We had a lot of people but it was too much. Flavor profiles and looks were similar. Maybe little stickers identifying what is what would help. For what it is, it's great. Not my cup of tea. Service was fine. One two servers running around and working overtime. Hard to waive them down for fresh water or else. Be ready for your order...Three sushi Chefs behind the bar creating what is ordered.(I think, they must have prepared rolls). It's a full restaurant and three TVs preparing the background noise and color. We made a beginner mistake and ordered too much not knowing how much it actually is. Order less on the first of three rounds and be selective. Too much rice and heavy sources for me, covering the little flavor sushi has. Not what you normally expect from a sushi restaurant, but I had to remind me - all you can eat! Don't expect first class sushi, you will get 'sushi' not first class. The tuna was not in one piece, rather a tartar. (Hint).Check it out and find your favorite. It was OK for hungry hippos who want to believe they get a great deal for $30... I suggest, eat less and get better...
Don't take your eyes off your beers...
Came here with a group of 4 guys for the All-You-Can-Eat Sushi. Sushi was not at all good quality, but we knew what we were paying for. The service, or lack thereof, is the real killer at this place. It takes at least 15 minutes for each round to come out, and you are hard pressed to find a waiter to take your order after Round 1. Now we get to the real offense of this place...
At about 9:15 PM, still about 15 minutes before closing, my group is only finishing up our second (and unwillingly final) round, and two of our group are working our way through some 22 oz Sapporo beers. There is still about half a beer left in each bottle. I look away for a second, I look back at the table, and both of our beers have magically disappeared. To our dimbfoundment, a waitress is running to the back with our half-full beer bottles. Keep in mind, the beer at this place isn't exactly cheap. We try calling after the waitress and letting another one know, but very quickly every employee found something very important to do in the back. In their haste to get out of the store early, after they already delayed our meal, Zenko Sushi heavily drove down their level of customer service, and through this their reputation.
I'm nothing but fair when I comes to reviewing and recommending restaurants, but Zenko Sushi just earned a spot on the "Do...

This all-you-can-eat (AYCE) $20 sushi place was gross! And this is coming from a person who's not that picky and loves to eat a lot of almost anything. Everything had TOO MUCH RICE in it and the (bad quality) rice tasted old! We had a hard time finishing our food, but we did our best because they charge you for wasting food, especially the rice. All the rolls we ordered looked the same and tasted very similar, even the rainbow roll! I'm not sure how it got rated over 4 stars either. The customers in this area probably never had good quality sushi. The cheap $4 sushi rolls at the supermarket taste way better.
The server rushed us on ordering, too. Who does that? She even watched us like a hawk. She probably thought we were going to hide our food in the only napkin she gave us. It's one napkin per person, unless you ask for more, which again will be one per person.
Our food took forever to come out. We only ordered one round. Usually we order 3 rounds, but it was really hard for us to enjoy the food. Sorry to say this, but eating here ruined my weekend. I'll be spending my time at the gym burning all the wasted calories I consumed from the sushi, or maybe I should be bulimic for the day.
I came here during my lunch break. Now I just...
