I really liked this dominos in the past when it was of very high quality. Recently though, something has changed, making this a place that I will likely not order from again.
I highly suspect this is a pay/management issue because I got the sense of total demoralization from the employees. I ordered a pizza last night for carry out and upon arriving there was someone who was already in line waiting. She told me to go first because, “I’m not sure what’s happening with my order”. Ok. That’s the first red flag.
She proceeds to leave the store and I go up to the counter and start to notice that the phone has been ringing this entire time. Second red flag. There are definitely employees working, but all of them look very tired and dead in the eyes. Also, none of them have even looked in my direction. They are all occupying themselves with seemingly random tasks around the store, like shuffling boxes back and forth.
Another man enters the store at this point and is standing patiently behind me. I’m still thinking that eventually someone will notice me and hand me my pizza, so I haven’t said anything. Another few minutes go by and I turn around to look at the other guy and we just kind of shrug at each other.
I ended up just walking behind the counter to grab my pizza myself and that was that. It was a horrible pizza too, it didn’t have one of the ingredients, but it did have way more cheese than it should have and it was literally dripping in grease. My expectations for low end pizza aren’t super high, but this experience was very bizarre and disappointing.
I hope management gets their act together, or shuts the place down in favor of a store that actually cares. It’s really pretty impressive and embarrassing that such a popular concept can be run into the...
Read moreIf you work for a pizza place and you loathe baking pizza for people, or in other words, doing your job, if it in fact makes you so angry that you slam pans around and bang cabinets shut and cut pizza with a scrunched up face and scowl at customers walking in to place an order, then it’s time for you to find a different job. Seriously. I never go out of my way to post a negative review on a business, but my first time experience at this Domino’s was ridiculous. I walked inside to place an order and I was asked if I had a name to carry out and I said, “ No, I have to place an order,” and this woman - whom I assume is the manager - gave me an unsettling look as if that were a problem. A big problem. “Okay, you’ll have to wait.” I had no problem waiting whatsoever. So I waited and observed, and upon doing so I could immediately tell that this woman created a very hostile work environment not only for customers, but for the employees, and I had a strong sense it rubbed off on them by their body language and angry despondent looks. She had a major anger problem and clearly did not want to be there. And my response is: then don’t be. She was literally fuming, and the way that place is designed, the customer has a clear view of the whole kitchen. Alarms kept going off. She yelled, “Another large! They don’t stop coming!” Boy was she mad. But that’s your job. As I stated above, if it makes you literally that visibly angry, then quit and find something else. Extremely uncomfortable environment, and a very unprofessional manager with a major anger problem. Based on this one person alone, I...
Read moreLet me start by saying I in no way blame or feel that any issues with my review are the fault of the guy pictured here. If any other franchise is looking for a good employee, this guy should do. With that said. I ordered my pizza on Wednesday for a Sunday pickup. The order was for 6 pizzas for my son's birthday party. Pick up time was 1:45 pm giving me 15 minutes to get home for the party. When I got there at 1:45 only 2 pizzas had been made. The problem was that there was only one person working there. He was making pizzas answering phones and manning the register single handedly. I cancelled part of my order to not only get out of there asap, but also to help him out because he was overworked, not overwhelmed. As he was making the pizza, someone who was clearly his manager or supervisor called and proceeded to be very rude to him on the phone. Despite him being the only one there. I asked the managers name because I feel they were being very unfair. He said the manger was Tony and the franchise owner was Jesse (I think) per my request. I left the resteraunt at 2:05 with 3 of the 6 pizzas. This was one of the worst experiences I have had anywhere. I feel that if your business model is to shortchange your staff completely, I do not need to frequent your franchise. What if the lone worker would have been burnt, hurt, robbed, or even shot. No one would be there. The pizza (that we got) was great, but I will NEVER be back to this franchise. I hope that they change the way they do business. If not I hope that others catch on and follow suit untill...
