Placed an order, waited an hour, called. Transcript of call, verbatim:
“Hi, I placed an order an hour ago and just wanted to see what was going on?”
“We only have one delivery driver so it should be on it’s way”
“Ok thank you I just didn’t want it to get lost!”
Waited another half an hour, realized it had been marked as delivered in the meantime, went to look for it, it wasn’t anywhere, called again to see what was going on. Transcript of second call:
“WE ONLY HAVE ONE DELIVERY DRIVER”
I get they’re probably stressed, but I called two times not 40. Honestly was so flabbergasted that I was like ok thanks bye.
Thought about it and at this point I was like well I don’t want tuna that’s been sitting at room temp in this driver’s car for two hours anyway, so I called again:
“Hi I’d like to cancel my order” “Ok” Silence. “Do you need any details for this?”
Met with more silence. Was hoping maybe the call dropped or something. Tried calling a few more times and no one picked up.
Hopefully I get a refund magically, even though they were busy and didn’t know who called to cancel? They didn’t even take my name.
Employee was lowkey rude but I get it. Definitely a management problem with not scheduling delivery drivers/overworking available staff.
Anyway don’t order from this...
Read moreI live very close from the Jimmy Johns and the last few times we have ordered for delivery it’s taken well over AN HOUR to get a simple sandwich. We call every time to see what the delay is and instantly after the call we get a “order is out for delivery” message after the call ends.
Why are you just sitting on orders to be made after people call to complain? And after we get a delivery message it takes another 20 minutes to get delivered?
This is unacceptable. Mission is not THAT busy. The Jimmy Johns near my office in OP Corporate Woods is WAY faster than this and I can promise they get 10x the amount of volume at their store. Why have a “freaky fast” delivery message if you aren’t going to uphold that? Every time we go into the store it’s fine, but your delivery option...
Read moreWe looked up this jimmy johns to make sure they closed at 10 pm and not 9 pm (some locations vary on this). So when we (and when I say “we” I mean the caravan of me and my fellow academics who just got done with night class) pulled up to the establishment at 9:48 pm we were told by one of the two male employees working that the restaurant was closed.? As someone who has worked service jobs in the past I strongly feel the need to comment on the poor customer service except we didn’t even get served because the two employees clearly had plans soo grand which caused them to take it upon themselves to close early. Maybe they did have something valid that caused them to close early (although the AirPods in their ears told...
