Iāve lived a privileged life and never had to go to a laundromat. But I have recently learned the hard way that big blankets do not fit in normal sized washing machines. I have now bought a brand new washer and dryer and Iām trying to not destroy it.
This being said, I looked for laundromats on Google and found this one with great reviews. I felt it heard by one bad review from eight months ago, but still took a chance.
I am honestly extremely happy with the customer service I received and the facility. And when I went in, I told the guy working behind the counter that I was new and I have no idea what Iām doing and luckily a woman came from nowhere and helped me. I wish I wouldāve gotten her name but she was extremely kind And held my hand through the process. She told me which washers to use for all of my bed blankets and all of my throw blankets. My biggest worry was somebody stealing my laundry. But that did not happen. it appears that they usually have somebody staffed in, so I think it would be hard to do.
Also, if you donāt have a large stash of quarters no worries you can get quarters from them or you can download an app that works when you enter the facility where you can pay for your machines. It was extremely user friendly.
Bottom Line. The staff is helpful and kind. And the facility is clean, safe, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was looking for a laundromat that took PayRange, since I 1) didn't want to use quarters, and 2) didn't want to use another laundry app (I already have two with cash loaded). This place takes quarters, uses the PayRange app on your phone, or you can use your credit/debit card at a touchscreen Pay Station kiosk to start the machines. I love the options.
It's a medium-sized laundromat with a decent number of washers/dryers and an okay amount of seating. There are six folding tables, with the staff using 2-3 for the drop-off service at the time I was there. The inside was clean and the seating area was open and roomy. The side with the machines was a little cramped.
Everything was clean and in good repair. I didn't see any out of order signs or puddles on the floor (I've seen some rough laundromats lol). The temperature inside was comfortable and the ceiling fans were appreciated. There was classic rock playing on speakers.
Overall, I'm glad I found the place! I'll definitely be back the next time I have to wash a lot of clothes. Wish there were more folding tables. Maybe put two face to face in front of the register, or turn a few diagonally to squeeze a few more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI go to the laundromat about once a month to wash comforters and rugs. First time here and LAST. Very small space. Cheap machines that donāt throughly wash, and the timer is off. The machine I started last finished first?! Same cycleā¦WTH? and the rude blonde that works here almost got choked. Itās a NO for me!! Edit after āmanagersā response* very defensive I must say, and the conversation went nothing like that. There was absolutely no discussion about using the wrong size machine. Didnāt happen! Nor was there any cursing! LOL My comforter which is thin was used in a $4.50 machine, my very light bathroom rug did just fine in a $3.50 machine and my tiny dogs bed (sheās 3 lbs) which was a lot smaller than a regular size load of clothes was the machine in question. There was barely any water or soap and was done 4 min before the other 2 machines that started before it. Like I said I do this every month. Your regular customer that was present looked like she washed clothes but once a month so Iām not sure I trust her opinion on cleanliness. Facts are facts, your machines are cheap and...
