Great Burn Brewing — Restaurant in Missoula

We made a stop here on a very hot summer day while on a road trip. They have a covered patio / deck and allowed our dog to sit out there with us - this is a huge plus for us and gives an establishment an extra kudos in my book.... since we travel with a dog we are always in search of places that will accompany us, as we can not leave him in the car on hot days. They gave us a bowl of water for him too! We enjoyed a taster tray and then shared a pint..... if I recall correctly the coconut porter was our favorite! Edit: Bumping from 3 to 4 stars. Last two times I've been here the sound issues were not a problem. I notice patrons tend to avoid the large high table near the wall so I think it's just that spot that has ear ringing acoustic issues.

The beers aren't bad. Surprisingly cheap, so if you're not too worried on flavor being robust this is a good choice. The Great Burn IPA and unexpectedly, their Belgian Trippel are their best offerings by a mile. Good flight sample too, I ...

Great Burn is our favorite brewery in Missoula!

They have a solid variety of beers. There's not a bad one in the bunch. My favorite is their flagship IPA, but I always enjoy trying their seasonal brews.

The service is prompt and friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. There's a reason you'll see so many regulars!

They frequently have food trucks, and you're welcome to bring in outside food. Pups are welcome on the patio.
