Sweet Peaks Ice Cream — Restaurant in Missoula

Edit: Store replied saying it's staffing issues causing variation in opening times and asked if I would remove this... I still think a quick update on Facebook or Insta saying you won't be opening on time when issues like this occur would go a long way(there's multiple reviews with people experiencing the same). A sign in the door saying opening hours may vary due to staffing would also be a good idea, IMO. I'm gonna change this review to 3 stars and leave it up.

Never even got to try the ice cream, Google says 11am open, sign on door says 11am open... Got there at 11(happened to be going by Missoula west on i90 with an ice cream craving), and nobody to be seen... We paid for parking and everything.. waited until 11:30 when our parking expired and had to hit the road again. Very disappointing. We gave it a year and then my kids talked me into going back. Good cream but very expensive. You do not get very much. About the size of a golf ball. (Splits $5, super small singles $4 plus tip). Headed back to Big D.

Wow, I appreciate that you are a MT company as I am born, raised and still all MT, but...we have been with you from your start, always supporting you from Whitefish, Kalispell, Missoula, and once Bigfork. Today we were at your Missoula location. Apparently these days you have raised your prices to $3 for a golf ball sized kids cone and $4 for a very small single scoop. Horrible staff person! Whoever was on shift today June 22, 2025, at 4:05PM saw four of us come in. She was on her cell phone and did not acknowledge us. Ok, fine, tell your call that you're working and will call them back. Nope, didn't happen. We looked at the menu for 5 minutes while she hid in back. We were ready to give our orders and rang the cowbell on the door again. I watched her, still on her cellphone, go to the back/staff hallway and shut the door!! She didn't even look at us! If she would've just said it's a really important call and to please give her a couple minutes, we would've understood, but to not even acknowledge paying customers - she should be fired!
