Tea & Crepe Missoula — Restaurant in Missoula

Saw this place on instagram and was excited to finally give it a try today. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. We ordered the tunacado rice ball and a strawberry green tea drink. I know it’s called a “rice ball,” but we didn’t expect it to be basically all rice. Couldn’t taste the tuna or the avocado past all the rice. They also don’t have soy sauce for the rice balls, which seems like it should be a necessity for something that is 97% rice. The drink was okay, it looked like it had some strawberry inclusions in it but it mostly tasted like chemicals to me (which isn’t atypical for a lot of places that serve tea in this manner). I’d rate my overall experience 2/5 stars. The employees working were nice and the restaurant itself was clean. I’m not sure if I would go back, but I do have a lot of friends who enjoy this place, so perhaps in the future I’ll give it...

Just had their boba for the first time. Immediately regretted it. Sent me to the bathroom puking after finishing it. Stomach is still turning. Heart still racing from how much caffeine I got from it. The tea in it was so strong it was nearly inedible. But, that was my mistake for continuing to drink it. I'm not sure if the tea brewed incorrectly or if they're using a stronger brand but, it was noticeable on how strong it was. Took over the entire taste of the pearls. I love boba and should've love this. Really sad I didn't.

Word of advice, brew it a little lighter. I shouldn't have gotten sick from this, or felt really uncomfortable because it was brewed way too strong. It was definitely highly caffeinated.

I have to say, this dessert shop is truly outstanding and fantastic! Recently, they added rice balls to their menu, which caught my interest, so I decided to give them a try. I got completely hooked and indulged myself! It's incredibly, unbelievably delicious. Especially the eel rice ball, and the prices are very reasonable. I can't believe I devoured five of them in just two days! Previously, I also tried their banana chocolate crepe and brown sugar milk tea, and everything was absolutely delightful. You must visit this place. The combination of flavors and quality is beyond compare. The ambiance is cozy, and the staff are exceptionally welcoming.
