Another update! Its been a while since I went to this location, between working by the westheimer location and trying to eat healthy, I've been avoiding pizza. However, I just went back and the pepperoni rolls were excellent! I'll try the other stuff soon and hopefully add another star
Update: the manager and I spoke about something else not mentioned (it was a total mistake and I don't want to drag the gentleman for it) and I mentioned the pep rolls. He immediately gave me 3 new ones and discussed quality with his crew. I look forward to changing the stars on this next time I pop in! (If it's only been a few weeks since this review, keep in mind I don't have pizza all the time lol)
I was not going to do this review even though I waited 45 minutes for my food only to be told that it had been done most of that time and they hadn't told me when I paid (I ordered ahead). But then when I got home and opened the boxes, I knew I had to say something. First, I'm a huge fan of double daves and I was ecstatic when I found out they were opening a new one near my house. I have been going all the way to westheimer for pepperoni rolls. I noticed some difference in quality the first time I came to this new restaurant, but today it was extreme. It is more expensive at this location for lower quality food. It might be the same ingredients but they presentation/way it is put together really is less than I expect from double daves. Today was my first time ordering the Philly cheesesteak Stromboli from this location and I don't intend to again. It is a chunky overly breaded item that would be better if it was extended. The pepperoni rolls were half their normal size (mostly) I had one regular sized pep roll. I only ordered today to let me friend try this place I rave about and I'm a little embarrassed to take this food to her. Please get it together guys. I really want to like...

We had a fantastic dining experience at DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks! The all-you-can-eat buffet is a great value at just $12.99 and is available every day from 11am–2pm and again from 5pm–8pm. Perfect for families or anyone craving a great meal without breaking the bank.
As vegetarians, we were so pleased to find fresh vegetarian pizza options, a fully stocked salad bar, and even delicious Stromboli included in the buffet. The ingredients were fresh, and everything tasted homemade and flavorful.
What really stood out was the thoughtful service — the manager noticed we were vegetarian and personally came to our table to bring us a fresh veggie pizza and later Strawberry Fields dessert. That kind gesture truly made our visit feel special.
Drinks are fairly priced, and they even offer a free pint of Real Ale Texas Light during buffet hours and happy hour (3–6pm). It’s also family-friendly, with kids 5 and under eating free and only $4.99 for ages 6–11.
Plus, they host fun weekly events like trivia on Mondays, open mic on Wednesdays, and live music on Fridays — making this more than just a meal, it’s a great community spot.
We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend if you’re in the area, especially if you’re looking for vegetarian-friendly options and top-notch...
Read moreI decided to stop by and try the pepperoni rolls (6) with ranch dressing as well as some local Craft Beers on tap....I was happy to see such a wide selection of Texas Leaguer beers to choose from....it's nice to see local businesses supporting other local businesses (Texas Leaguer Brewery is also in Missouri City!). Anyway, the pepperoni rolls were hot & fresh out of the oven and quite delicious. Started with cool ranch dressing but polished off the final 2 rolls with cold marinara sauce to mix things up a little; whichever you choose, you won't go wrong.
I'm a Double Daves fan from my college days (Texas A&M) and this meal definitely made me nostalgic. Unfortunately I have to let others know that this location does not offer a buffet unlike other Double Daves franchises (and is something the brand is kind of known for), which was a disappointment and why I can't give this review 5 full stars, sorry. Nevertheless, I ate pretty much what I would've chosen from the buffet anyway. Double Daves pizza proper in my experience is pretty middle of the road but the Pepperoni Rolls are out of this world and get my ringing endorsement. In the interest of fairness, I will try this location's pizza my next visit and offer my...
