Mike Shannon's — Restaurant in Missouri

Mike Shannon's is an airport restaurant whose greatest advantage is a good seating area and quick service; however, for a restaurant, the food is quite poor in quality. The drinks are about standard, but at airport prices and be careful that you do get a 20-oz pour if you order a tall beer. If it comes in a 20-oz pillsner glass it will need to be filled to the rim without head.

The Buffalo Chicken Nachos were bland. Given how sparingly the Pepper Jack and Gorgonzola cheeses in the nachos were used they feel like they added for inclusion in the menu description and were unnoticeable under a blanket of Queso Blanco. The chicken breast appears to be bag boiled or cooked in a water bath and perhaps kept at temperature in a buffalo sauce bath for quick service. However, it was not overcooked.

I ordered a 20-oz beer and was unfortunately served a 16-oz pour in a traditional 20-oz pilsner glass, which felt deceptive.

The manager was kind enough to come over and fix that issue for me. However, the issue could be eliminated by serving pints in 20-oz glasses; the extra space in a pilsner glass is ultimately for supporting a beer's...

Omg was there on 10/27/2025 at around 3 ish and the server Shannon blond with a ponytail first I would like to say I hate speaking on race but got dang this girl ignored us for one and then when I did ask her a question she was very nasty in her answer. What else can I attribute her attitude to because everyone around she treated them like family. She acted like she was disgusted by even having to speak to us. This was so heartbreaking to be a productive citizen that serve time for my country and get treated in such a matter…..wonder how u r a server and u want to be selective on who u serve….I'm a professional and my god this owner wants return customers he needs to choose wisely. Airport food in general is usually nothing to write home about - or travel to St. Louis for. Mike Shannon’s restaurant in the STL airport takes the bar even lower and does the name Mike Shannon a tremendous disservice by the poor quality of food and atmosphere. A $20 burger & fries that I would not serve my worst enemy. A cashier/greeter standing at the register eating food, licking her fingers and pressing register keys? A supreme burger that is supposed to have certain condiments on it comes with none on it and none on the side. What would amount to a small size order of McDonald French fries provided that go cold while waiting for condiments. When questioned about it the server curtly says that’s the way “corporate” tells them to do it. Could they not have even brought the condiments on the side? Guess not.
