Everything here is way above a typical Mexican restaurant in the midwest. The food is masterfully prepared, garden and farm fresh, and unequivocally delicious. You will not be disappointed and if for some reason you are, let someone know your complaint. They are genuinely warm and eager to help. I was delighted at their service and the food. I am writing this review at my first experience and it is so perfect, I owed them this review. I do not know them and was not asked to provide a review. The dining area is small, comfortable and clean. I had the nacho fiesta which includes nacho supreme and two chicken street tacos. The nachos were piled and layered to perfection with fresh diced tomato, cilantro, iceberg lettuce, finely diced white onion, jalapenos, shredded cheddar, creamy queso, well-seasoned finely chopped ground beef, and a dallop of sour cream on homemade crunchy tortilla chips. The street tacos had well-seasoned small diced chicken chunks, finely diced white onions, and cilantro with a lime wedge to squeeze on. The soft corn tortilla was fresh and warm. Only one customer that had take out ahead of me , disregarding my presence having a lengthy conversation . The male I expect was the owner/ employee didn't apologize.. I'm a Black American and have spoken Spanish fluently for over 50 yrs. I sat down, recieved no utensils , ordered 4 street tacos, water and waited 25 minutes without any other patrons in the place... The tacos were expensive but I gave the waitress a 50 percent tip before leaving...I won't be back . . Trying to support a minority small business and I felt they treated me as, I was beneath them. ? Read moreVisited this place last night. Was greeted when we walked in and we sat at a table. The place is small, but very clean. It was our first time here. The waiter was nice, but was unable to answer some of our questions. They were out of Tamales and Carrot Cake. I got the Flour Tortilla Street Tacos, and they were good. My wife got there crunchy tacos and she liked them, I tried one and it was delish! Next time I will get the crunchy tacos. The waiter did not come back to check on us, but a different waiter stopped by and made sure we were taken care of.
Yes portions are small, and is a little pricey. Two entrees and three pieces of cake was 65+ dollars. The cakes were nothing to tell mamma about, and I will not order the cakes again.
I will try it out...
