After being on the road for over 11 hours the wife and I got a room in Moab. We were exhausted so we decided to order delivery from this location. The estimated delivery time was 45-56 minutes. After an hour and 10 minutes we had still not gotten our food. We tried to call the location several times but we kept getting an automated message that they were having issues with their phones. After an hour and 40 minutes later I figured we were not going to get our food so I was going to go to the gas station and grab something for us so that we can get to bed. When I went to step outside our hotel room door there was our food laying on the floor and I just about stepped on it. Apparently the delivery driver must have decided to just leave it on the hallway floor in front of our door. The wife and I never once heard a knock on the door and we were only reading in our rooms so I don't think that they knocked at all. The wife had ordered the Philly cheese steak sub and it was burned on one side. I had ordered the chicken carbonara bake and mine tasted good but both mine and the wifes were completely cold. When we had placed the order we had included a 25% tip for the delivery so you would think they would try to make an effort to at least knock on our door to make sure we got our food. Miss-shaped and more than 40% crust. Oh ya and none of them were cut had to pull apart each pizza. Also my original upset I requested plates and napkins online kinda the norm when delivering to a hotel. After placing order Called the store just to be safe and requested these items as well - was assured they would be added to the delivery for the driver to bring. Needless to say they were not included in the delivery. I asked the driver āKylerā about this he first tried to blame the miss on not asking under instructions on the ticket then saw it was there. I explained I had typed it in the special instructions which he then found on the receipt. Also I told āKylerā that I had called he then blamed it on calls going to corporate, explained that I had confirmed on the phone I was speaking to the actual store in Moab Utah. He stated he would return with items as we were just a mile away. Weāre now 2 hours later horrible non topped either burned or raw uncut pizza and of course āKylerā never returned with plates or napkins - Do not order pizza from Dominos in Moab Utah even if they are the only place open in town for delivery. Ā Ā Ā Read moreCustomer service is severely lacking. I ordered 5 pizzas that cost $100, waited over an hour for it to be delivered, the driver arrived (very nice guy) we thanked him and he left. We realized that one of the pizzas was made incorrectly. I immediately called and informed the gentleman who answered the phone that one of the pizzas was made incorrectly and inquired if they could send the correct pizza out. This employee was unmistakably annoyed that I called to receive a correct pizza. He begrudgingly took my order then informed me āit would be a whileā I asked if they could send the pizza out as soon as they can, since weāve already waited an hour. He simply said there was 25 pizzas ahead of us that will be delivered first. We received the pizza 50 minutes after calling about their mistake (the store is less then 10 minutes away) again the driver was extremely nice and apologetic. Iām not frustrated that they didnāt make a pizza right, because mistakes happened and thatās okay. Iām disappointed at the fact that my call clearly inconvenienced this gentleman. If you canāt handle an upset customer and fix a mistake(whether it was yours or your coworkers) then donāt work in customer service. I hope management can prevent this type of behavior...
