I wanted to love this place. Housekeeping was AMAZING! And majority of the staff was super welcoming, however Lisa clearly has something against off-roaders. Our group has been coming for car show weekend for years and have never had the issues we had this time. We trailer our street legal, fully registered jeeps to Moab and we use them to buzz around town and to hit the many trails in Moab. On Friday we were told by Lisa that we needed to load our jeeps back on our trailers when we were done off-roading for the day because there wasn’t enough parking spaces. Mind you, we parked our jeeps within the same trailer parking stall that our truck and trailers were already in so we weren’t even taking up any additional spaces (which couldn’t be said by many others who were using 3-4 parking spaces all weekend). Lisa walked around writing down all of our license plate numbers threatening us that those were the rules and sorry if it wasn’t made clear by others. We clarified this “rule” was completely false, and she obviously just wanted to be a B* to us. Aside from the higher than normal rates for the same quality rooms as years past, and this situation with Lisa, we won’t be back. Plenty of other hotels will be more than accommodating to the masses that fund this town from...

Read moreThe experience here was decent enough, but when it comes down to it, you get what you pay for. If you're just looking for a quick place to crash and don't mind hearing just about every sound from outside as if the door weren't shut at all, Big Horn is great. The front desk was helpful, friendly, and efficient, and the room comfortable enough, but the noise proofing is pretty sub-par. The bathroom was also a bit on the cramped side - little more than a portapotty with a bathtub. The only other issue beyond that was a couple of housekeeping misses - the previous guest's coffee grinds were still in the pot despite the rest of the pot having been cleaned and reorganized, and there was an old, dried up snus pouch stuck to the wall just behind the headboard of one of the beds, which was a bit gross. Like I said, if you're looking for a quick, relatively inexpensive place to crash and don't mind a few less-than-perfect aspects, it's a great place for what you pay, but there are definitely nicer establishments you can stay at for a marginally higher cost. We were just passing through for the night, so we didn't care as much this time, but simply put, this would not be our first choice for any future...
