It should be mentioned first that we found the comfort food served at Milt’s to be so satisfying we returned the following night.

This eatery is like a step back in time to an American burger stand based on quality ingredients and simple presentation. The four of us chose to enjoy a variety of their burger selections, including a cheeseburger with brisket, a cheeseburger with egg and bacon, a simple cheeseburger, a cheeseburger with pulled pork.

In addition the fries are superior. They are thin slices of russet potatoes deep fried to a perfect texture. The second night we also had a basket of fries topped with bar-b-q brisket. It was so much it was breakfast the following morning for one of our party.

The milk shakes were creamy and delicious, so thick we had to request additional straws. The shakes we ordered included cinnamon chocolate, peach, Oreo, coffee. Each one was rich in flavor as it was in texture.

Saw a couple patrons enjoying their Wagyu hot dogs. They looked delicious and one of them ordered a second to take home. But Dessert was a treat. Each night we shared a brownie sundae that was so decadent it fed four of us.

It should be mentioned how pleasantly and welcoming was William, who took the orders and was managing the place. Don’t know if he was the owner, but he certainly demonstrated all the qualities of a caring proprietor. Our second night we witnessed four young boys, who worked for Americorps, step up to the window to order food. One of the boys mentioned he didn’t have money to pay for a meal, and when the meal was picked up this boy was surprised to find a burger and fries provided gratis. The teenager couldn’t be more thankful, and William simply said “you are welcome.”

As someone who has spent a lifetime owning and consulting restaurants, this unassuming dining outpost was both surprising and elevating for the homage it presents to quality no matter the price. If ever in Moab, I recommend a pilgrimage to this unpretentiousness salute...

After a day with the kids at Arches, Milt's is a great place to do lunch. You won't find this burger stand along the main street with all the other restaurants in Moab. This unassuming burger stand is tucked away on a side street, but it's definitely worth a visit.

We ordered a BLT, Bacon cheeseburger, Rodeo Blue cheeseburger (BBQ, bacon, blue cheese, jalapeño, onion ring), Elk cheeseburger, brisket cheese fries, Root beer float, and a Cherry coke float. I was thankful for the free water and cups which was available from coolers.

As you can see from my pics, they weren't much to look at BUT make no mistake, they were all very delicious! There were no complaints from anyone. Big winners were the Rodeo Blue cheeseburger and brisket fries. The cherry coke float even had cherry ice cream in it. The elk cheeseburger was a little dry, but that's expected from elk, a very lean animal. Just grab some ketchup packets.

There's no inside seating, but that's ok, there's several picnic tables nearby on top of Astro turf, a couple under a large tree which gives comfortable shade. The one thing that my family found annoying were the flies (summer 2024). We choose a table somewhat nearest to the metal garbage cans which were teeming with flies. I suggest to the staff to cover those cans or get the usual fast-food-style garbage cans and regularly empty them out. The flies started to swarm our table and our food, making it difficult to eat at times.

Choose a table far from the flies and you'll have a great time with friends and...

Milt's Stop n' Eat is a hidden gem that every burger enthusiast must try. Nestled in a cozy corner, this charming diner offers an irresistible menu focused on one thing: fantastic burgers. As soon as you step inside, the inviting ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home.

What truly sets Milt’s apart is its commitment to quality. Each burger is meticulously crafted using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The moment you take your first bite, you can taste the difference. The signature Milt’s Burger is a standout, featuring a perfectly grilled patty that’s juicy and packed with flavor. Topped with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and their house-made sauce, it strikes the perfect balance of textures and flavors.

The customization options are impressive, allowing patrons to create their own masterpiece. Whether you prefer classic toppings like cheese and bacon or want to experiment with jalapeños and avocado, the choices are endless. Don’t forget to pair your burger with their crispy fries or onion rings—they're the perfect sidekick!

The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for families, friends, or a quick solo meal. With reasonable prices and generous portions, Milt's Stop n' Eat guarantees you’ll leave satisfied. If you're on the hunt for delicious burgers that hit all the right notes, this place should be at the top of your list. Trust me, your taste buds...

Here is a weekend itinerary for a fun trip to Moab, Utah! You can certainly squeeze more in there, too! Last year, we did more exploring in Canyonlands since it is so close to Arches, and the weather was a bit better. This year, we stayed at @stayatthedomes and wanted to ensure we had time to enjoy our stay there, so we started our adventures at our normal time (early and before sunrise) but ended the day a bit early ! I highly recommend stopping at Dead Horse Point State Park, as well 🤍 PS: my husband gives Milt’s a 10/10….don’t miss it!! . . : . . #Hiketok #hikers #hikingbabes #hikebabe #adventuremore #adventuretok #adventurelife #hikinglife #hikeutah #hikemontana #hikewashington #pnwlife #exploremore #hikemore #hikingaz #azhiker #azhikes #hikingtips #hikinghacks #campingtips #camptips #camping #campersoftiktok #campingtips

🏜️ 8 MUST DO ADVENTURES MOAB 👇 🥾 Explore Arches National Park A few of our favs- Double Arch Trail: 0.6 miles with 95 feet of elevation gain. Windows Loop Trail: 0.7 miles with 98 feet of elevation gain. Pine Tree Arch Trail: 1 mile with 196 feet of elevation gain. Sand Dune Arch Trail: 0.3 mile with 124 feet of elevation gain. 🌅 Sunset at Delicate Arch Okay, this is probably one of the most crowded parts of the park, especially at sunset. But trust us, it’s worth it. 😍 The hike to get to Delicate Arch is 3.2 miles with 629 feet of elevation gain. 💫 Stargazing You can find incredible stargazing anywhere in the park! We chose to do it at Balanced Rock. The trail is 0.3 miles with 55 feet of elevation gain. 🏕️ Stay at @sunoutdoors North Moab This was the PERFECT base camp. 5 minutes to the entrance of Arches National Park, and 5 minutes from the charming downtown Moab! Everything was so clean, lovely amenities, & we especially loved the cabin rentals. Seriously couldn’t think of a better spot to stay for a Moab adventure. 🌵Canyonlands National Park Just 35 minutes from Moab is another awe-inspiring national park! We enjoyed the Grand View Point Trail: 1.8 miles with 160 feet of elevation gain & the Mesa Arch Trail: 0.7 miles with 88 feet of elevation gain. 🌞 Sunset at Dead Horse Point State Park One of the most spectacular desert sunsets you’ll ever see-and no hiking needed! Just park and go choose from several wonderful viewpoints. 🌄 Sunrise at Corona Arch Probably our favorite hike in Moab! And it’s not even in a National Park. The trail is 2.3 miles long with 462 feet of elevation gain. We recommend going for sunrise to beat the crowds, the heat, and of course for the stunning colors of the morning glow. 🛍️ Explore Downtown Moab We love when National Parks have cute towns attached to them! Downtown Moab was full of life with quaint shops and so much yummy food. We really enjoyed pizza at Antica Forma, burgers from Milt’s, and ice cream from Crystals Cake’s & Cones. #utah #visitutah #utahfamily #moab #moabutah #travelinspiration #archesnationalpark #canyonlandsnationalpark #deadhorsepointstatepark
