We've been going to McDonald's for almost 40 years and this was the worst one we've ever been to. The service was horrible. There was only one person taking orders. The line from the counter went all the way to the door. After I finally placed our order, I realized that people weren't receiving the food they ordered. People, both inside the store and in the drive-thru lines were coming back to the counter to get things that they ordered but didn't receive. Some people took their orders, got in the car and left and then had to come back because they didn't get their complete order. We waited more than a half an hour "after" I placed our order. At that point, I realized that they'd "skipped" our number and questioned the girl at the counter who told me it would be up "soon." I had only ordered two things a Southwest salad and a plain hamburger. I waited a few more minutes, while several more orders were filled, including one order that they filled twice, but my order still wasn't filled. At that point, I stopped the girl again and asked her for a refund. Just as I asked for my refund, another woman came in from the drive thru and said she'd been waiting outside forever for the rest of her order and she wanted a refund too. The girl looked at me, handed me a hamburger (she didn't even bother to put it in a bag) and said she'd refund my salad. I gave the cold hamburger back and told her I wanted a refund for "all" of my order. It took her a minute or two to read the receipt. She couldn't seem to tell the difference between the cash I'd given her and the amount of the bill, but I did eventually get my money back.
My husband's diabetic and controls his blood sugar level with food. We'd stopped there because it was time for him to eat and he truly needed that salad. I've never been to such a "sorry" McDonald's. No one who worked there seemed to care whether the orders were correct or not. They definitely didn't care how long it took to fill an order or how long you had to wait to place an order. We left that store, drove about a mile to Arby's and had our food within 5 min of walking...
Read moreOne of the more "lower end" establishments of the well known restaurant chain. My visit here today was a exercise in mediocrity at best, the level of customer service was pitiable. I arrived and placed a curbside order, pretty standard fair. But after 30 minutes of waiting I received a status update on my order stating I received it.
Upon arriving inside to investigate the matter, I'm informally met with an irate manager who went out of her way to tell me that the "Curbside Ordering" was a inconvenience to them due to being understaffed. If this is so, then they may as well remove the banners outside ENCOURAGING customers to utilize it. And while I somewhat understood the staffing, what I DIDN'T understand was how she failed to politely greet me, made zero attempts to apologize for the situation, and brazenly stated that MY order was cycled out to another patron while I sat patiently outside for 30 minutes waiting for it.
It is THIS mundane level of service and associates that continues to belittle and tarnish McDonald's name as a whole. The chain has become something of a joke as of late, as you come to expect service of this caliber now. So the situation was rectified by remaking my order, which of course required MORE waiting, and my reward for my patience was my meal served with over cooked hardened fries and yet another failed opportunity for an apology.
I Will NOT be returning to this location 👎🏾, and if you value good service...and edible fries, I recommend you all avoid as well. And to my unapologetic manager here, I HIGHLY recommend a few lessons in etiquette and decency. As a manager you lead through example, and while these are challenging times, a SIMPLE apology can go a...
Read moreThe service last night between 830pm and 900pm on 12/07/24 is horrible I waited in line for a happy meal just to pay for 15minutes, I was not acknowledged when handing back my card she just put her arm thru the drive thru window and continued her conversation with the other employee. 2 car were ahead of me, I realized I have been waiting another 15 minutes for at least the line to move, I jumped out my car to see why was this taking such a long time, there was no customers on the inside, one man was sitting in the back and one lady standing at the counter, the employees were just standing around having conversations. I showed her my receipt and asked can I have my order, the manager says I was just getting your order ready, I replied and said, you have 2 other cars, waiting that was in front of me, and an entire line at the drive thru window. I didn’t understand what the problem was there was no customer service, no I’m sorry that it’s taking so long, but for your inconvenience here is etc, I was not looking for compensation I wanted my order in a timely manner, as a paying customer that’s what i deserved. I am a supervisor of a department and i expect all my employees to give excellent customer service, if not you can turn in your badges, last night will be my last night or day, visiting that McDonald’s i am a very dissatisfied customer. When you know better...
