You know I can remember going there as a kid. I am 32 and their food was so good. They use to take pride in their food but now they don't care. They want to get paid with as little as possible of work. I use to go in there and they would speak and the food was always hot. Now days it's rolling of the eyes "Can I help you?" I meant my Mom always taught me to kill people with kindness and good luck at getting the same thing back. I have always got their Chicken Meal every since I was a kid and now you go in and it's been under heat lamps for hours on in and reheated no telling how many times. If you ask do they have any fresh chicken they either say NO or IT'S GOING TO BE 20 mins. Well, by that time the person you are with as ate all of their lukewarm meal! I miss the older people that use to work their that took PRIDE in their work and was there work. Headquarters need to do as I use to do when I was managing restaurants is fire as many as it takes. It's better to have a "FRIENDLY QUALITY PEOPLE AND FOOD" THAN A BUNCH OF RUDE EMPLOYEES AND COLD REHEATED FOOD. THE MANAGEMENT IN CHARGE NOW ISN'T MUCH BETTER THEY NEED TO GO TO. I went to get a "To-Go Order" and it was closed. The manager Larry said well we are doing you a service by being open. REALLY!?!??? When I got that answer from the Manager I will NEVER go back that's the final straw. I will settle for KFC atleast they...
Read moreMy husband went to the restaurant and ordered to go my chicken and dumplings. Asked the server to put the turnip greens and okra in separate to go containers. She refused to follow the customer 's request. When I opened my container the turnip greens had spilled over in the dumplings and the juice was in the okra, along with the dumpling's gravy soaking the fried okra. The chicken and dumplings were ruined. I tried to eat a bit hoping it would not matter. It was not good. I called to speak to the manager and was accused of lying because I was not there. My husband spoke to him and was told it is his fault because the employee did not do as asked by him. I don't appreciate being called a liar and I don't appreciate my husband being blamed because the employee ruined the plate. I have watched many times them do the sides in separate containers as requested, by the customer, only once. This is why Morrison 's has lost business. All I was looking for was an apology from the restaurant manager and told it won't happen again. Instead I was told it is my husband 's fault the employee refused to accommodate his request so my dinner would not be ruined. This is no way to treat a regular customer. We won't be back because I am not a liar and it was not my husband's fault the employee did not do her job as requested. My dinner is...
Read moreVery unfriendly staff. Went to the to-go area of Morrison's, lady in front of me orders the liver and tells the meat server that she wanted a specific piece of liver which she pointed to, the meat server told her all the liver was fresh and the same. That's when the rest of the customers began to speak to each other with our eyes. I'm up next, no greeting, the lady just stared at me like "what do you want." I move down to the vegetable server who was the nicest of the 3 workers which says a lot because he didn't speak either. Last but not least, I move down to the bread/cashier station and I'm not sure if Lori the cashier was having a bad day but she asked me if I wanted bread, I say yes, cornbread please. She picks up the cornbread with the tongues and throws it on my plate. I figured maybe it slipped and I had 2 plates, so I ask for cornbread on the 2nd plate too, nope, not a slip, she threw the cornbread on that plate as well, then she threw the tongues down into the plastic utensils bucket. She rung up my order, handed me my food with an attitude and gave me the receipt. I would of gave Morrison's a 1 star but lucky the...
