Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Monroe

I was picking up an order through a third we party delivery site and the way I was treated was horrible!! As it was my first time going to chicken salad chick, I did not know there was a shelf with mobile/take out orders and third party delivery sites. Like i previously stated it was my first time ever in chicken salad chick. I was waiting in line patiently and this man (white with short hair cut) I’m assuming he was the manager or general manager, asks did I need help with anything and I said yes I’m picking up order for so and so. This man precedes to get so loud that the whole store can hear him and says in the most condescending way that the order was on a shelf with DOORDASH above it. He talked to me like I was a two year old child. Mind you I already told him who the order was for so as I’m picking up the bag he snatches it out my hand and tells me I need to read the receipt. The only order that was on the shelf was mine and another order which I knew wasn’t mine because I had two meals and that one bag had one meal in it. He literally embarrassed me in front of everyone by talking down to me like I couldn’t comprehend simple task of telling me where something is located. As a black woman, I felt he talked to me like that because he thought I was uneducated. The white lady behind me in line also had an order sitting on the shelf and didn’t realize until he made that scene. And of course he didn’t talk to her like he did me. I will make it my mission to let my peers and family know not...

I’ve been eating lunch here for about 3 years and lately I eat here once or twice a week. I’ve been adding & paying the extra $2 for the extra side of grape salad with the extra toppings on my online order and they have not been putting it in my bag. Keep in mind when you order online there is a place for a small note and I always add don’t forget extra toppings. They’ve been forgetting a lot. Today, I asked for the extra toppings and asked if I could have a small bowl with a lid and a young lady seemed upset that I asked and a man came from behind me took my bag of food and went through it to see what the problem was…then informed me that they don’t do this, just doing it for you this time, which, hopefully he meant the bowl and not the extra toppings I paid for! He was so condescending with his tone it sounded mean actually. So, if I ate inside and wanted a bowl for leftovers would they give me one…I like to save my extra grape salad for a snack later and the box is too big for the fridge…hence why I like to have the little bowl. I will not be coming back...

Had to ask where my order was. They said it hadn't come up yet. After watching and waiting for 15m, a girl walked passed me with a bag. 3 plates in it. I had 3 plates. I followed her to check the name on the bag. It was indeed mine. Sat there and watched the girl bag it. Tape it all up. That process took 10m for some reason. She Kept walking away from it and doing other things. The whole time I'm asking about my order. Whole encounter was about 15m. Far too long for an order that was placed ahead of time. I get that you're busy but if someone placed an order amd the order is up, focus on getting that order bagged up and out before doing anything else. I work in the food industry. That's exactly what I do. An order is up. I jump on it immediately. Bag it and get it out. Nothing is more important than that order...
