This is a resteraunt I've loved since I was really young! It's nestled in the quiet parkinglot that also hosts the Quality Foods, so it's a very unassuming spot, but it is ABSOLUTELY worth your time to stop in.
There's a reason they've been around this long- their food quality and pricing are both amazing. Their staff is always incredibly kind, and are frequently checking up on you to refill drinks or address any concerns you might have.
The atmosphere is delightful, and I love how colorful the decorations are- it always makes me happy and helps me ease into relaxing after a long day. The booths aren't super padded but pleasantly comfortable despite that. If you have spinal or coccyx issues, this is a place I'd recommend bringing a donut pillow, but only if you struggle with flat surfaces.
Food comes out quickly and is super delicious and filling! Our party of 3 almost finished a medium order of queso as well. Myself and my cousin had the cheese steak quesadillas, and my wife had the shrimp tacos. You'll notice that we only got a picture of the chips and queso - that's because the food smelled and tasted so good that we finished it before we remembered! 😆
I attached pictures of the updated menu, since the one we found online was missing things. They're nicely laminated so you'll notice a few glares, but I tried to make it readable!
Please come give this place a try! You won't regret it! And buy a 50 cent piece of marzipan on the way out as a...
Read moreTook our server over 20 minutes to greet us yet was able to serve two other tables sat after us and bring them their food before coming to our table finally. We then proceeded to order a large strawberry margarita pitcher and did not even finish half of it when a food runner spilt queso all in the pitcher and did not acknowledge it twice, even after the clear view of queso all inside and outside the pitcher. I had the manager walk past us three times and tried to get his attention but he continually walked right past us multiple times. It wasn't until I caught the food runner who spilled the queso that I was able to address the ruined drinks and ask for a new half pitcher. 20 minutes later, even after we finished our main dishes, was the new half pitcher brought out and it tasted like there was no alcohol within its content at all. The new pitcher tasted like strawberry juice and lacked all the margarita elements. Highly disappointed and unsatisfied. Do not recommend going here. You are better off finding another...
Read moreThe first time ever going here, we had some stuff to do in town and decided we wanted Mexican food. We Googled Mexican restaurants, and this was one of the ones that came up. We read the reviews which were mixed between good and bad. Some people saying expensive and small portions, which almost made me not go, because I love my food, and the last thing I want is to get small portions. I've got to say the portions were not small, I definitely got full. The food was great, I recommend getting the tex cheese dip for an appetizer or a mill on its own it is delicious. I added 12 yes 12 shrimp to my mill for only 5.99 steak houses charge more than that for 6. The waitress was awesome, and so was the service I will definitely be going back. As far as overall price, I...
