On the 18th of this month I visited the Monroe Ga. Panera Bread location, it turned out to be the biggest mistake I made that week. Using the drive through, I ordered two cups of the "Wild rice & chicken" soups and the "Napa almond chicken salad" Sandwich on the sour dough bread. everything went and worked well got to the window paid for my order they gave me my bag and I drove off. At home I discovered that they did not put the sandwich in the bag, so I called the store to complain but also to alert them that I would be coming back to get a sandwich on a different date. I spoke with the manager who informed me that they were going to put my name on the clipboard and they were going to discuss the fact that I didn't get a sandwich at their next managers meeting that afternoon that they would fully refund or replace the order on my next visit plus provide me with several pastries as compensation. I agreed and told the manager thank you that I would be coming that weekend to collect my sandwich and she said that my name would be on the board and I would have on trouble. Today, Sunday, March 22 I went back to Panera to take advantage of the managers offer. At the drive-through the young lady questioned me three different times asking me managers name date when the incident took place and said I would have to pull to the drive-through window. at the drive-through window a separate person came to the window asking me who the manager was and said that I would have to wait while they found the note, meanwhile there's at least 10 cars behind me waiting get their orders. A new young lady who actually was the young lady who gave me my original order but did not check the bag, (which would have voided all this additional work) came back to the window and asked me what type of sandwich it was? Then she brought me a sandwich with no soup are the additional pastries I was promised and said here you go! I asked her about the soup and pastries and she looked at me as if I was Begging for additional food? At this point I was so flustered with the whole process, I just told her to give me the damn sandwich and I left.
With our current situation and given the very poor Management at this location, I will not spend anymore of my time or my hard earned money at this restaurant and I will forbid anyone in my family from using this restaurant and I intend to inform all my friends neighbors and anybody that will listen to stay away from this restaurant. Given the service and lack of management and the attitudes they have for customers, this unit is the most unprofessional I've seen in a long time in the food industry.
Thank you Management for...
Read moreNever been there and never will be back there. The food was horrible, you could tell the lettuce was old (it had a chemical taste to it) no dressing on the salad, the bread was SO HARD that you could beat it against the table and it didn't break ( I know cause I tried it), the soup bowl bread was rock hard also, the soup was cold even though I grabbed my food 1 sec after they called my name, I ordered my daughter's food she had the broccoli and cheese (her soup was cold as well, and her bread again rock hard), got my son his food Chipotle chicken sandwich with bacon Mac n cheese brought it home he said it tastes horrible. When I brought it to the cooks attention, instead of saying oh I'm sorry, let me go get my manager. Trinity & Thomas both looked at me and said oh well, that's fine. WHAT?????? UMMMM i spent 50.00 on food that we couldn't even eat and all you say is OH WELL??? That is the most insane thing I've ever heard. Then when I asked for a receipt it took 20 mins and I still didn't walk out with a receipt, the manager was saying he couldn't get it so he sent out the employee . While waiting for my receipt Thomas and Trinity never changed their gloves their grabbed their arms and everything with the same gloves as they were making people's food. Everyone in there was unprofessional, rude, and just ridiculous. You send out the cashier to handle a customer complaint? That is beyond ridiculous. I will be calling corporate tomorrow cause that's just crazy. Also my friends apple, she cut it open and it immediately turned BROWN ( AGAIN) WHAT??????? THATS not suppose to happen. My friend got the salad and soup she didn't even eat her salad either or her bread or apple. It was nasty and very...
Read moreWorking at a local school my co-workers and I order Panera often. The last 3 times something has been missing from my order. Typically it was a side or all the sides. Today after ordering online for 4 people with a total over $70 (convenient fee I obviously except to pay) I called minutes after placing the order and asked for my order to be checked and make sure everything is in the bag.
I was told by a manager "I will double and triple check". However, the order wasn't checked at all per the receipt.....We were missing a soup. I understand mistakes happen my husband and myself have worked in food service. It doesn't make sense there is a mistake almost every time. The solution offered is making the soup at that time ( not an option) or giving me a refund for the soup ( I didn't have time during my lunch to wait on a credit card
I usually didn't call when it was a side or all the sides just because it wasn't worth it because nothing could be done to fix it at the lunch time and driving out of my way after work.
It may sound like so much to ask for but a refund for just the soup after calling to ask that all my food please be in the bag today and be assured it would be triple checked but it shows up not checked at all. I feel a solution would be replacing my entire order or at least the meal on another day of choice so myself and co-workers could enjoy as intended and not making the call I did...
