Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Monroeville

OVER ALL NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. NOT WORTH THE $20 THAT IT TOOK ME 2 HOURS TO EARN, THAT I SPENT AT YOUR STORE. Employees need to be retrained, and taught to treat ALL customers equally well.

I have eaten at DQ's all around the Country and I must say that at this one I felt unwelcome. I felt there was no love put into the food, the tables were dirty. And I sat and witnessed a customer complain about her food, they took her food, put it on a back counter and when they thought nobody was looking, they got the food that was left uncovered on a back counter, pretended to give her fresh food but really they reheated the food she had already. I think that is disgusting and disrespectful to the customers that spends their hard earned money at your store. Nobody in the kitchen has a hair net on and I watched as they all snickered with each other about what they had done to the customer that complained. Also the young lady at the front counter taking money went back and forth from the front counter to the food without washing her hands or using gloves. I was really disappointed at the service here being that I live in another state that does not have DQ and Grill, so I was looking forward to this meal. I went to Dairy Queen today to pick up an ice cream cake. I went to the freezer cakes to pick up a cake and got in line behind 2 other people. When i made it to the front of the line, the cashier left to go help the kitchen and takeout window for several minutes before returning to the front to check me out for the cake. I didn’t have anything else, so I wish I could have just checked out when the people in front of me were finished, as there was no one in line behind me. I just thought it a little odd that they chose to leave one person in line when I wasn’t getting anything they would have to make in the kitchen. Aside from having to wait, the staff was very friendly.

The chocolate chip cookie dough blizzard cake was delicious! My wife was very happy I brought it home for her, as cookie dough is her favorite. The blizzard layer was mixed well and there was a substantial amount of cookie dough pieces on top of the cake itself.

Wow. What a disappointment, and not in the sense you'd think. I was leaving an appointment from next door and figured I might as well grab some food. There were a couple of people in line ahead of me and couple of guests waiting for orders. I wasn't in any hurry so I browsed the menu. After about 5 minutes I ordered my chicken tenders basket and cheese curds and sat down to wait. The cashier was quiet, but sweet. Within another 5 minutes, my food was brought out to me. I took it to my car and started to munch since I didn't want to wait the 30 minutes to get home. The food was so hot and fresh - I was purely amazed. I have never had such hot fresh food from a DQ. Thanks to the great staff for everything you do. You have put all of the other DQ's to shame.
