Went here awhile back ago and was not pleased it started out great but then went down hill. First time being here walked in and waited there for about 10min. We were greeted with a hand shake by what seemed to be the owner. He said thank you for waiting, we will seat you soon we are a bit busy. There were like 3-4 empty tables but didn't think much of it. We where then seated, ordered and were once again greeted by the owner, it seemed to me that he was a bit drunk or just overly social, it was nice to see him talk to everyone at the tables, but it started to feel to personal. When he came around still shaking our hands and playing and poking at my son. He just seemed bothersome to us and a few other people. He would walk around doing small jobs, and talking. While his waiters were running around. Sitting there watching all this for about 45min. We noticed the couple after us got served first, we let the waitress know and she said "oh its cause it depends what you order" all we ordered was enchiladas, shrimp and a quesadilla. I don't think it takes 45min to make. She said she would check the status. She came back with another tables order, served them avoided telling us what the status was and went back to the back. I got fed up and left, we told the front end lady what happened and told her we were going to leave and we're not satisfied. She tried to convince us to stay but we didn't. If you are in need of attention from strangers and like to be served in a random order! By all means go. Decor and music was cool...
Read moreWe ate at Crabby's again tonight, and we're convinced our first visit wasn't a fluke -- this place really is great! We haven't had a bad meal there yet, and it's definitely worth the extra drive to get there. The salsa and the ceviche are both absolutely fresh, and they have some of the best clam chowders I've ever had -- just enough of a kick to set it apart from the generic chowders you're used to. I went with the shrimp fajitas tonight, and they were done absolutely perfectly. My wife went for the whole tilapia and couldn't stop eating. Oh, and order their sangria - they have one of the best sangria recipes around. And to top it off, everyone who is part of the Crabby's team is friendly and attentive; they really enjoy making it a great experience for the patrons, and they go out of their way to let you know they're glad you came.
Crabby's is now on our go-to restaurant list, and is our favorite local place for seafood. Next time, I'm going to try the Costa Azul -- either that, or I'm going to show up hungry and try out the Combination Platter. I've found several more that I want to try soon, too. Hope we'll get to see you there when we...
Read moreThe 2 of us came here on Sunday evening.8/18/19 for dinner to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. We came here cause this was our second choice outa the two restaurants we wanted to visit while being in the area. Luckily for the first restaurant we visited minutes before they seated us,brought us chips and forgot all about us 20 min later..so we left and came here. From the moment we came through the door, the owner welcomed us with a warm genuine smile as if we were family. He seated us immediately and got our drink order. The atmosphere was very pleasant and not annoying with the perfect temperature along with the music. Every once in a while the owner would check on us to make sure everything is perfect and if he didn't the waitress would as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. The guacamole is made to order..YES fresh and they ask you how hot you want it from 1-10. We ordered the "Oly platter" and it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Especially the presentation. Overall when we left it was like it was a grand opening, cause of everything was OUTSTANDING! 👍 👍 2 Thumbs Way Up. We will definitely be...
