I tried the CAVA in Northwales for the first time today after regularly being a customer at the Center City location. I’m sorry to say that I will never come back to this location nor recommend it to my friends and family. I have never had this experience with a CAVA and hope it is not due to the fact I am African-American as my Caucasian friend with me did not have the same experience. I ordered a build your own bowl, and at each station was met with disrespect, disdain, and dismissive behavior. The portions were extremely small, and when I asked for an extra scoop of the rice and chicken, I was told I would have to pay extra which I have no issue with but the second scoop was smaller than the first. As I was choosing my toppings, the young girl serving rushed through my order and left the station handing my bowl to the check-out women before I finished choosing my toppings telling me I was finished. I was not greeted with a hello or smile at any point during the service. When I inquired about the side order of pita, the women assumed I didn’t want it and tried to remove it from my order. After, I asked for an extra side of chips, they were carelessly thrown onto my tray. My total came out to $50, and after the service I received, the amount of my money for my bowl should not even be half the price. I am extremely disappointed and disheartened as this location is so much closer to my home, and I am sorry to no longer be able to come to this location. The workers should receive customer service and DEI training because I have never experienced such horrible...
Read moreVery good fast casual Mediterranean food. Reminds me of Chipotle when they first opened and actually had good quality ingredients and service.
I’ve eaten here four times and the food is always good. The Harissa Avocado bowl is my go to. Always fresh and really delicious. Some of the dressings can be salty, so I get that on the side. The last time I came here, I think the prices may have gone up, and there was less meat than the previous times, so they lost a Star for that. It is a bit pricey ($15 for a bowl), so my expectation is that the protein will be high.
The drink selection is very good, with fresh juices and teas. They have a really good cucumber mint juice, lemonade, blueberry and strawberry flavored juices, along with black tea and fountain drinks.
The employees have always been very friendly. The restaurant has been fairly clean, but a previous reviewer mentioned sticky tables, which is true. I think this is the finish in the wood though, and not a lack of cleanliness.
Overall a very good fast causal spot. I’m not even a big fan of Greek style food but I love it here. Please just don’t go the way of Chipotle and...
Read moreThis is my 3rd time going to cava in the last week and a half. I found out about cava from youtube and I was amazed about how good the food looked from there on. I did everything in my power to try and get some. I had a bowl at first and it tasted amazing. It wasn’t great but it was amazing but I knew that next time I knew what I wanted to order in my bowl today I got a pita wrap. I love the wrap. The wrap tastes amazing the main thing about Cava that I love is the fact that the food just taste so fresh and so flavorful it’s not like chipotle where you expected to taste like Mexican cava is just something it’s something that just grips your tongue with flavor and it all depends on what you put on it. That’s why the variations to me are just amazing when I first looked at the different variations. I thought this is too much. This is too much for my taste buds, but then I realized it’s exactly what I needed. I would also like to think out the team at Cava who gave me this order because they honestly helped me out by suggesting what taste good withwhat. Cava is...
