It is unfortunate, but the situation at this Starbucks location has been deteriorating for quite sometime.
The baristas have lost focused, seem very unorganized and have not figured out how to keep up with the demand. I submitted a mobile order and arrived 15 minutes later to a crowd waiting for their orders. One barista complained that he was "on mobile" orders, while not making a single beverage while I was waiting.
Customers can be seen touching all of the drinks that have been prepared, as they look for their order. Utter chaos. I waited another 15 minutes and concluded that my beverage would not be made. Could not be made.
The chaos can also be experience at the Springhouse location. After ordering inside, I noticed that no one could take ownership for who was making my beverage. It was awful.
*11/21/2021 - update. I ordered early evening, using the mobile app and assumed I could walk in to pick my beverage up since the hours stated open until 9pm. Got there and the door was locked. Went through drive through to window.. and beeped (forgetting) I should go to the intercom area and announce. I did and pulled up. Young lady reminded me to use drive through. I suggested that it would help customers if they keep hours posted or update mobile to advise customers to use drive-through..
While I was speaking, the barista slammed the pick up window closed and walked away. Called to speak with manager was told manager was on break and would call back. No call...
Read moreThe worst Starbucks experience I’ve had in 30 years, here’s why… First of all, the drive through line was OUTRAGEOUSLY LONG! So we decided to go inside. Bad decision. Second, the door was NOT light, OR clean enough. It was 10 AM. I did not sign up for arm strength that morning. Third, the person who took our order was too quiet and rude. His voice was monotone and sounded like he hated me. Absolutely unacceptable. Fourth, the music was ABSOLUTELY OBNOXIOUS. I was just trying to get my morning pick-me-up but instead got a face full of devil music. Fifth, we were waiting OVER 30 MINUTES for our drinks. Our food came out super fast, but by the time I got my drink, my egg bites were cold and unappetizing. In the end, it took 40 minutes before we complained. Then, the workers had the nerve to ask me what I ordered. Sixth, the baristas were a HOT MESS. When they called the names for orders, they were quiet and inaudible. They dropped cups and didn’t know where anything was. Seventh, they only filled my cup halfway. Ugh. Lastly, they spelled my name so wrong. My name is BRIDGET. They spelled It BRIGGETE. Read moreThis used to be a good store up until about a year ago. Three instances of wrong orders and a rude employee in the last month. There apparently is no management around in the 5-6 pm window on weekdays. I get the same drink every day. I placed an order at the drive thru and was handed the drink at the window and questioned if the correct number of pumps was used and I got brushed off with a yeah it's okay and the window was closed while I was talking; the second time the order was hot and I ordered it cold; and yesterday, the third instance, I placed the order at the drive thru asked for iced, it was repeated back to me and when I got to the window it was hot.
