CAVA — Restaurant in Montgomery

All I can say is small portions,big prices and bad attitudes. Let me start by saying I absolutely love cava but visiting this new location had me asking is this the same restaurant chain that I've been visiting on Zelda Rd. I mean they're supposed to be the same but they most definitely are not. First off I asked the young lady for half yellow rice and half lentils in my bowl she stopped dead in her tracks rolled her eyes and looked at me with the worst attitude. She then told the girl next to her I had an order of double grains. Now if you had seen this portion you would know this is not only what I said but it could never have been a double order of grains especially with that small spoon they're using to scoop with. The meat wasn't much better I asked for half chicken and half steak which was met with the same attitude an eye roll followed by barely any meat being put on the bowl. One thing for sure they won't be replacing chipotle anytime soon with these portions and bad attitudes at least not at this location. The other ladies were pleasant enough but that one girl was absolutely horrible. Next I asked for an order of fried pita chips found out they were inedible overcooked. If I hadn't gotten it to go I would have definitely asked for refund. The meal was horrible. Meat no flavor and dry the workers at this location need more training all I can say is stick to the original Zelda...

Ordered online for a drive through pick up order. When we arrived, they told us they didn't have the good ready and had 'just gotten the order'. That was inaccurate as we literally had to wait almost 30min from the time we submitted our order and then actually pulled up to their drive through. Then we waited another 15min for them to prepare the food, walked inside to grab it, and the guy rudely told us he was out of a 'few things', no offer to substitute anything or refund partial money back. When I got home and we started to eat, we noticed the bowl was half full, literally had 3 ingredients in it, so basically everything topping wise I'd ordered was left out, and then there was no meat, which I'd pay an upcharge for the steak and there was none!! I ate a cold, old tasting bowl of dried out lentils, wilted lettuce, and onions. Excuse me, but if they were supposedly out of everything then they should have told customers and at least offered a substitute like a drink or something. I will never return to this location. The cava location I usually go to is way better...

Prior to departing this establishment, I would like to share my observations. The young male who took my order demonstrated exceptional kindness. In contrast, the chicken cutter appeared unengaged. Attitude much?! To enhance the customer experience, the Caucasian female staff member should strive for greater professionalism. It is expected that carry-out orders include a complimentary bag. I should not have to ask for a damn bag unless you all ran out. I am currently sitting in my vehicle at 5:31pm on 9/20/24 because I am compelled to provide this feedback. The lady who finalized my food preparation was very kind as well. Needed to add that part. Other than that, train those two workers on how to appear nice, welcoming and professional.

I will not return to this location and will instead frequent the Zelda Road...
