Great price and product selection. Very friendly employees. Greg, Drew, Laura, Patricia,Sheena,Ethel Tommy,Jasmine,Kim, Valerie and others!!! I hope the business is taking care of them because they make the shopping experience. Two things would make it perfect, ice available again & premium crackers for sale. Since covid the original raisin bran from Kellogg's disappeared, with raisin crunch in its place. I prefer the original raisin bran. These are small matters. The clothing and household goods are always seasonally appropriate and well displayed. The current arrangement of milk and eggs, and juice being available from a large walk in refrigerated space makes for a nice cool down most of the year in Alabama, but be aware in the cooler months if you are cold natured. The fresh fruits & veggies are also in a large walk in cooler but less cold than the dairy area . Bread choices are endless, gluten free, whole grain, bakery, specialty, tortilla and naan. Great meats including lamb and many fresh fish selections. Rotisserie chicken , wings, and spare ribs packaged hot in meat area. Many premade, ready to serve or bake items at counter also. Up front there are pizza, dogs, and smoothie or icecream if you worked up a hunger that won't wait. And gas with conditioners added ( top shelf) cheapest in town.

Costco used to be our favorite spot in Montgomery but not anymore because of one employee at the food court .She is consistently rude to us and other customers .Her name is Patricia and unfortunately when I complained to one of the supervisors " Andre " , he couldn't do anything about it .This place is turning into a ghetto quickly .Attached is the cup of ice cream sold to us and refused to fill it because that is the 10 ounce size which contradicts the advertisement picture on the wall for a full cup .This all happened in front of the manager "Andre " and he couldn't even make her fill it .She also insisted on selling us a left over slice of pizza that didn't even look edible. She eventually took that old slice setting on the counter and stock it back in the new pizza coming out of the oven and gave us a new slice which a clear health code violation.

I went to this Costco today to sign up for a new membership. There was a old lady with gray hair at the membership desk being so pushy to sell me a executive membership even though I’ve been telling her that I only need a regular one concerning my shopping habit. She seemed annoyed and went like “oh Lord🙄”, “it doesn’t make any sense”, “you’re wasting money”. I brought my passport and learner’s permit with me for signing up and she ended up rejecting me just because she said they only accept driver’s license. But the policy doesn’t seem to be like what she said. I’m not sure if she treated me like this on purpose. But it’s unprofessional and disappointing.

If I could give less than 1 star, I certainly would. My issue with Costco is solely with the level of service I received as a MEMBER. I am new to the Costo scene and have only been in 2 of their locations but the one in Montgomery made my decision to shop elsewhere a very easy one. I signed up for a membership in December of 2024 in another state and was told I would receive a $20 gift card in the next few days to use at any Costco across the country. This last weekend we traveled to Montgomery Alabama to see our oldest son graduate from the Air Force, become an officer and server our country. After his graduation, he wanted to get some supplies before being shipped off to his first assignment. Our hotel was directly in front of a Sam's Club but I remembered we had this $20 credit coming so we made the additional 25 minute trip to the local Costco. We filled our cart with supplies for his new journey and headed to the checkouts. I went to the membership desk to inquire about how to receive my $20 credit and waited in the line for no less than 15 minutes. I finally got someone to "help" me and told them our story. I won't mention names here because I'm not here to degrade anyone but the lady at the desk was less than helpful. She told me her hands were tied and she couldn't honor the $20 because it was the weekend and there was no one we could call to inquire about it. She told me I should have received an email and when I told her I did not, she again told me her hands were tied. She asked if I wanted to speak with a manager and I said yes, of course. When the manager got to the counter, the lady proceeded to talk over me and tell him what I had told her. When I asked if I could be the one to speak to the manager she got offended and backed off. I explained my situation to the manager only for him to immediately repeat "My hands are tied", "I can't do anything for you" By this time, I was furious. We had a cart full of items that my son needed for his move and my family was waiting in the line for me. I finally asked him if he was willing to lose 2 members over a mere $20 or would there be something he could do to help us. He just looked at me. I smiled and said I'd like to cancel my membership and he said "no problem". All of this could have been avoided, we could have spent our money there and we would still be "members" if he had simply helped out...

Most people here are awesome, I'd give most everyone and everything a 5 star but this one woman who appears to be a manager has been rude to me or someone ahead of me now three times when I've gone in on the weekends. It's when she's at the exit. She clearly hates being there. Or maybe she enjoys harassing customers as we leave. This time, as I'm walking toward her, I see her count my cart, then the cart behind me, then the cart behind that, and I'm just waiting there patiently for her to acknowledge me so I can give her the receipt. I had gotten so close on her, I probably should've just tried to walk right past her since she wasn't making any motion to acknowledge me. So I waited for her to finish counting. Just as I'm so close I start to consider kindly announcing myself and seeing if she'd respond then, she said loudly where all the guests behind can hear that she was waiting on me and here I was waiting on her. She clearly thought I wouldn't say anything back and when I did open my mouth to say something, she said loudly again and over me I must not be ready to leave, then smiled and winked at me as if we had some inside joke. I don't know how the whole staff seems friendly and polite and this one lady who acts like she's above other employees is the one providing needlessly rude service. If she can't handle the exit fast enough without covering up her downfalls, then she shouldn't try to do it or at least not try to use a guest as a reason for her slow down. And if that isn't the case, and she just flat out won't acknowledge people until they're about to run out of the exit, then someone up higher needs to put her next to some of her own employees to watch what they do so she can learn some manners. Other exit greeters will wave or say something polite but quick as they count and it pulls us toward them since we guests know they're ready and have acknowledged us. This was Saturday afternoon, March 24. She has closely cut dark, wavy hair, is African American, and tends to wear red lipstick. If I see her she she does it again to me or anyone else, I'll get her name next time. She's just needlessly rude and I'm getting pretty...

My experiences with costco is that I can't find half of the food items I like, it is because Costco sale the cheapest product, I am paying a substantial membership each year, and I have to go to numerous places to shop because Costco don't have the item and flavors I want, this is bad business, why should I pay for a membership, if doesn't have the items or product I want, I can no longer pay for a membership because it is not beneficial for me, it is beneficial for Costco, and the prices keep going up and the membership goes up ever year, this is preposterous, and contrary to truth reason and common sense. I have all of these, it is unacceptable to me, the prices are absurd ,qhen you consider you are paying for a membership, and you can't find what you are looking for.

I saw a product that I was interested in,and Costco, only sold Chocolate, It comes in Vanilla also, and apparently Chocolate is cheaper than Vanilla, I spoke to a supervisor, and he was rather rude and sarcastic, I asked to speak to the person that was responsible for ordering the product, he told me his name and told me that I didn't need to speak to him, to fill out a request for this product, and if enough members request the same item, they will consider acquiring the product.I do not understand his absurd rationale, I will not renew my membership and take my business elsewhere, and take the money that I was paying Costco for a membership that I don't use much because their prices are higher than non-membership stores, and I am paying for a membership. I am not saving anything, I am paying more by shopping at Costco, and the quality is not that great because a lott of their products are restricted to one or two brands on some of their items, it is not practical and logical for me to renew my membership, the quality the prices are not great and paying for a membership is not worth it.I do not...
