We arrived today to almost a completely empty restaurant. There was a party of 12 that came in in front of us, we were a party of 10. I saw a couple sitting at a booth by the bar and two other occupied booths on the other side of the dining room. When I approached the hostess stand the girl completely ignored me at first, but since it was apparent I wasn’t going away she looked at me with no greeting or smile and I stated I had a party of 10. She said, just hold on a minute and let me talk to them, as she walked towards I suppose was other hostesses. She walks back over to me and says it’s gonna be like 45 minutes to an hour before I can seat you. I ask her why because the dining room was almost completely empty. She said that all the servers were going on break and the new shift people were just coming in, so they wouldn’t be able to wait on us, as they seat a party of 12 over by the bar area. So I asked to speak to the manager, she said hold on and disappeared to the back where she was never seen again. A person walks up to me and ask if they can help me and I ask if they are the manager and she replies with no she was a waitress. I asked for the manager again and my family decided we may not be wanted in this establishment and decided to leave and go somewhere else where they actually greet their customers and seated us right away. I have a theory as to why we were unwanted in this place and apparently we were too white. Who is open for business but sends every staff member to lunch at the same time and can’t serve their customers. They had no problem seating the party or 12 black people that came in and then a party of 2 black people and another party of 2 black people while we are standing there being told they don’t have any servers to work because they are all on break. Don’t worry we tipped our other server at another establishment very very well. No wonder Chilis is a dying establishment with stores closing down! We will...
Read moreI truly despise having to write reviews unless it is necessary. Me and family (mom, dad, sister and my 2 nieces) all went to your restaurant this evening around 520pm CT. To say disappointed is an understatement. We had to wait to be greeted and then our server (I didn't catch her name but we were in her section with the U-shaped booth) was so inattentive. We saw her maybe a total of 5 times. When we ordered our food each one of us had specific items that we wanted customized, I asked for no pickles on my burger and received pickles (I understand that is a kitchen thing however if she had checked on us more often this could have been rectified. Also when we ordered our food we had also asked for an appetizer that we had to ask her about again after 20 minutes. By the time our appetizer came out our food followed 3 minutes after. We were so hungry at this point and so where the kids that we ate cold French fries, tough chicken crispers and rationed out napkins because our server was not interested in serving us. After speaking with a manager who seemed just dumbfounded by our unsatisfactory service said she could see what she could do. No apologies, no let me try and fix it. Once our waitress came with our ticket she stood over us and waited for us to pay our bill. It was an uncomfortable around the table as we tried to hurry and get our credit card and pay and it seemed as if she was waiting for us to give her a tip or to intimidate us to give her a tip. I could go on and on about my service but it would be pointless. Do I suggest you go here, I would say if you value poor customer service and mid food to say the least then Chili's is where...
Read moreGot sat fast but the host didn’t seem welcoming, took 15 minutes for the server to even come greet us and when she finally did she started off with an attitude like she didn’t want to be working there. She was chewing gum or smacking on something while at her tables. Never gave us her name but the ticket says server Jhonnashela. Took another 5 minutes to get our drinks, didn’t get refills until we were finished and that was only a kid drink in a Togo cup didn’t care if we were done with our plates that she decided to touch and tap her nails on while asking rudely if we wanted Togo boxes. When she came back with them she shoved them in my mom face. She then came back with the card machine and stuck that like within inches of my mom face while she was boxing the food and just held the machine there not saying anything expecting us to drop everything and pay. When we went to pay she wouldn’t let us touch the device or pick a tip option, she instead did all the tapping on the screen herself then told us “just tap it” and when I did she turned around and walked away and tossed the machine on another table. I had to raise my voice at her and ask if I was able to tip her and she shrugged me off so I got louder and told her to print a copy of my receipt which she had to go to the computer and print and handed it to me rude af with an even worse attitude. Even with the terrible service I was still planning to tip at least 50% of my bill like I always do which would’ve been $40 this time… and instead she got my...
