HERO Doughnuts and Buns — Restaurant in Montgomery

I went for the first time today. Let me just say that I love seeing new businesses such as these pop up in DT MGM. Got there around 7:20am, and there was a line but got served in about 12 minutes. I just bought a dozen donuts today and they were freshly made and very tasty. Lots of variety. The most notable one was the lime and tajin donut which was unlike anything I’ve tasted before. Place is very clean as well and mid century vibe is on point. I think they can do better at 1. Having two cashiers during rush hour 2. Speed up service by allowing you to pick your donuts at time of check out 3. Leave a sign at the car park entrance informing customers that there is a drive-thru! Didn’t realize until walking in.

Ordered Burger and fries, and glazed donut. Was told theres only strawberry, so i took that. Walked in at 10:59, ordered at 11:21, got food at 11:51. Burger was cold, fries soggy but seasoned, donut was great.

Update: gave grace and gave 2nd visit, and complete 180! Ok. Donuts(OG, bread Pudding, and maple sea salt) came out immediately, and food (dble cheeseburger n fry) came out at 11:31. Lemme tell ya....im thoroughly impressed. 1st visit was a tragedy. This visit, outstanding. Food hot n fresh, and donuts still 🔥....although this bread pudding is a lil weird. Tastes good...but the texture is throqing me lol. Big kudos to the cashier Antaniqua! Customer service...

First time actually coming to the restaurant and trying the food out for myself(my job was catered their donuts a few weeks prior) and it was not bad. The burger definitely could have been a bit more thick, it was a bit on the thin side. The fries were on point, crispy, thickly cut, and full of flavor. My only gripe was the donut holes(or nuggets😂) they tasted waaayyyy better the first time I had them, they were lacking a little this time around. All that to say, definitely somewhere I would come...
