Comically bad service. I love Jimmy John’s, but this is by far the worst one I’ve been to. It’s a waste of everyone’s time and the existence of this store is damaging to the Jimmy John’s brand.
They close 7 hours early seemingly every day. Google maps says they’re open until 9pm — but they seem to close around 2pm. I’m new to this area and this caused confusion and disappointment my first two times attempting to go there Apparently they don’t have a delivery driver. I live ~6 minutes out and I called in to ask how far out they delivered — for whatever reason they don’t accommodate. They have a sign on the front door that says they’re available on uber, but if you check the uber app it says unavailable. I ordered over the phone and said I’d be there in 15 minutes; when I got there — they hadn’t started on the order and the employees were sitting around a table kicking back with no other customers in the store, and seemed mildly annoyed / surprised that I actually showed up. Their drink machine was broken (?? but whatever) — they didn’t bother to tell me this over the phone where I placed an order for a large fountain drink. They told me in the store in an awkward way after I picked up the cup and started heading towards the machine. What’s more - they had a limited selection of canned drinks — typically there are many options including bottled drinks. They cut my sandwich even though I didn’t ask for it. Somehow, with everything else, they managed to ALSO mess up the food. Not everyone wants their sandwich cut — you can’t uncut a sandwich — but you can always cut it. This is a personal preference but it just doesn’t make any sense and speaks to their general incompetence — I’ve never had to specify that I DONT want the sandwich cut like what are we even talking about?
In my opinion, whatever’s going on at this particular Jimmy John’s is too far gone — if I was corporate I’d conduct a thorough review, after which point you’d likely find many more problems than I did in my brief experience, then I’d shut the store down and save everyone...
Read moreI am giving this 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. However, on this visit you only get 2 stars overall for playing an April Fools' joke on me. Here is why. Yesterday, I received an email letting me know that the Mobile Mondays were back. I could redeem a reward for $1 off my mobile order every Monday in April. So, I went to the web and logged into my JimmyJohns account. There was the award, I clicked on it and made my order. When I got my email receipt, the $1 was taken off my order.
Subtotal: $11.00 Redeemed: $1 off Reward ($1.00) TAX $1.10 Total: $11.10 Google Pay XXXXXXXX: ($11.10)
When I got there, I checked to see if my sandwich was ready, it wasn't out amongst the rest of the sandwiches that were bagged and ready to go. A pleasant young lady asked if she could help and when I told her my name, she retrieved my sandwich and told me I owed them exactly one dollar. I looked at my receipt on the bag and sure enough, it said I owed one dollar. I knew it was futile to argue with the young lady, so I gave my dollar to free my lunch from captivity and made a mental note to let you all know. It is either a April Fools Joke or a the ultimate bait and switch. I made my purchase and was debited what I thought was an agreed upon price, but in order to get my sandwich, I had to give back the $1 reward.
Bottom line: This wasn't right. If you all were not participating in the reward program, then your online ordering system should have reflected this. I know it is only one dollar, but it is the principle of the matter. I didn't see a way to send this in a more private mode or...
Read moreI placed an order yesterday evening, 08/24/25, with a pickup time between 6:15 pm -6:30 pm. I arrived to pick up my order around 6:20 pm, and the door was locked. The closed sign was on. Lights were off. And when I called, the number rang a few times and went to a busy signal. Yet, my order was able to be placed, I received a confirmation email (37617503663849475), no one contacted me to say you were closing earlier than the 9 pm stated time on your site (despite having my contact info in the order), and my card was charged ($38.30). Today, 08/25/24, your website states you are open, I attempted to call again to reach someone, and again it rang a few times before going to a busy signal.
