Ordered Italian chicken sandwich, DON'T have anymore. Ok, Ordered hand breaded chicken sandwich, DON'T have ran out of. Ok ordered original chicken sandwich, BUT I wanted a fresh chicken cooked. I'll wait they say ok. I order cheesy tots, DON'T have anymore. Ok I order jalapeno bites. I'm not hitting good on things I want tonight! They are running a little slow, that's fine because I'm get my chicken freshly cooked. It'll be ready when I get there to the window. I get to the window finally. I pay and get my food already bagged and sitting on counter. I'm like thinking, I hope they have a FRESH chicken sandwich it that bag. I asked the girl if the chicken is fresh and just came up. She's like it was freshly made about 15 to 20 minutes ago and kept in the warmer to keep it fresh. She says she can't make me a fresh one because they close in 40 minutes. That in the back they cook them 2 at a time and a car came in awhile ago and ordered 4 so they cooked 6 of them. That they have to use the ones they cooked already before making new ones. How long do you get to keep them in the warmer before they are bad? When I worked at BK years ago we always cooked them fresh when ordered. She gives me my food and says it's good. I said it better be! I get home and it's not very hot not crispy on the outside and it's soggy. The WORST ORIGINAL CHICKEN SANDWICH I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!! Monticello, Minnesota Burger King is the worst place to eat! I like BK but Monticello is the WORST! I've had other issues at that one only! No lights on sign to order. Not have the food you want. Order food on app, pay for it, get pick up time, arrive 5 minutes early to find out they already shut down and never made your order. They shut down 2 hours early saying they were slow. What? But I ordered food 15 minutes ago! Never got food or refund that night! Next day had to try and prove I ordered at all. Never got food or receipt that night. Had to bring in bank statement to prove I paid. Then just got my order made then. No extras to say sorry! No sorry from anyone! When he got home We realized they gave us cold whoppers with no cheese and of coarse onions. Its like they didnt follow our order at all. They had a bunch of premade whoppers that they just threw in the bag and didnt care if the order was correct or not. I call to complain because we were charged extra for the cheese. The assistant manager took my name and address and said they they would send out 2 free meal coupons. I waited 2 1/2 weeks b4 calling to see where my coupons were. (I figured they just pretended to take my info and sent nothing. Figuring I wouldn't follow up, but I did.) I called at opening on a Tuesday in hopes that they wouldnt be busy and I could take to someone who could do something. I got the assistant manager again (he was the person who took my info at 1st and said he would send out the 2 free meals). I explained everything and he remembered me or ao he said. He explained that at the location they dont physical have the coupons that he had to email the general manager who sends them out. He was very nice and apologized and said he would throw in an extra free whopper with cheese meal for the mistake and time length of waiting. I confirmed that I was to expect 3 coupons in the mail. 2 for the original order mix up and 1 because they never sent out the original coupons. 2 days later I got the envelope in the mail. There was a hand written note. It had a generic apology from the GM. Included in the envelope was ONE YEP ONLY ONE coupon. Really what the hell. This doesn't even correct my original order and the cash I paid for way below sub par food. What do I do now? Do I really call AGAIN to complain to an assist manager who really cant do anything or do I waste time to hunt down the info for the GM to correct this issue? I decided to say F it. We decided to never go to this BK again and gave away the coupon. This decision was made because of our experience and from reviews on thw local FB page. Read moreWe ordered on the app to eat inside. We used the bogo original chicken sandwich deal and We added cheese to the sandwiches. We also got a few rodeo burgers, an 8 piece chicken nugget combo meal and an order of onion rings. I went to get our meal from the front counter and got handed our two bags. I mentioned we also ordered a pop and the lady (I was guessing she was the manager) whipped around and was like “a pop?!” I showed her my receipt and another guy handed me a cup, she grabbed it and told him give her a coke. So he filled it up behind the counter. Which is fine, he can fill it for me, but I sure felt like a kid that just got into trouble. (There is a pop machine in the lobby, not real sure why she didn’t want me to fill my own pop). When we started digging into our food we discovered our chicken sandwiches had no chicken, just cheese, lettuce and Mayo. I double checked my order to make sure I didn’t mess up and accidentally subtracted the chicken when I was modifying it, but no the chicken was just missing. My hubby brought the sandwiches back to the counter to get it fixed and the guy says “where did they go? I put them on there.” Why would we lie? He did fix it, and the sandwiches were good. Before we left I ordered 2 of the cotton candy drinks, one regular and one cold foam. When I went to pick them up I was watching the monitors (saying what order is being worked on) and the guy clears our order.. when I asked where it was he pulled it back up. I told him we didn’t get them and he was like oh, we are out of cold foam. Ok, we still will take our drinks.
