The Monticello Taco Bell is our closest location and ever since we moved to the area in 2020 we've been going there. But 85% of our orders are messed up in some way or other. Usually items missing or putting sour cream on something we asked to remove the SC from. (If you really don't like the taste of sour cream it will literally make the food inedible). And during the pandemic going into the dining area wasn't even a possibility and I'm not about to spend 50 minutes round trip going back there. I eventually just started pulling everything apart in the parking lot to make sure the order was made right and no items were missing. But today was the final straw... I did an online breakfast order because I knew I was cutting it close to the deadline. I pulled up to the drive through at 10:59 am and was told to wait a moment before they could take my order. They checked me in for my online order at 11 am and I pulled up to the pick up window. I sat there for a minute when I was told I just missed the deadline for breakfast. So instead of doing the right thing from a customer service perspective they told me I couldn't get the items that I had already paid for. To add insult to injury those funds won't be refunded for a couple of days because of how those digital transactions work. I will not be going back to the Monticello TBell. I will drive the extra 10 minutes to Elk River or St. Cloud instead of giving Monticello...
Read moreSun, Oct 30th Their service was horribly slow, it took me over 30 minutes to make it through the line, and there was only 6 cars in front of me. They were only letting one car through at a time, and making people wait at the menu. I waited literally a song and a half at the menu myself. Then I tried to buy one taco besides my online order, which was only 3 items, and they said I couldn't do that.
When I got up to the window I overheard the girl taking orders tell the person behind me to wait while she talked to coworkers about the line, wondered out loud if they should open the dining room and whether she should call someone to come in early....then realised that that person was due in in five minutes.... instead of taking orders. It was 4:55pm. I sat in their parking lot and ate a burrito before leaving and watched the line actually go into the street by two cars.
The food was also not made well. Beans on one side, beef and sour cream on the other, nacho cheese cup put in upside down so it made a mess from the nacho cheese stuck on the lid, they also gave me an extra item im sure someone never got....this place used to be a good taco bell to go to. Idk...

Whether it be the wrong food, a half hour wait for coffee, or a tablespoon serving of ingredients within a taco shell, or flat-out being told by an employee they don't want to take an order right now you can experience it here! Even ording 2 of the same burrito I have received vastly different creations, one mostly rice and sauce while the other dry as a bone. Whether its dine in or drive through, a modified order or right off the menu, you can guarantee something will be wrong or missing. After sampling through the year, hoping that something might change, you could call me insane. Yet the unchaning poor service, and the inability to ever receive a correct or quality order from this location, it has honestly impressed me; because at least they are consistent.
Save some frustration. Drive to Elk river or Buffalo if you really...
