Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Monticello

Typically when I go here I go in and get my meal. They do a freaky fast job at making and getting me my sandwich. There's always a welcoming hello at the door by not one, but all employees. They never forget to say good bye either!

Today however, I went through the drive thru. The experience was an interesting one for not only me, but my boyfriend as well. We placed our order and waited patiently. After only a few minutes our food was out, which was great (we were in a hurry). We took a look and the sandwiches we sloppy, we had to readjust our meats cause they were falling out, unfortunately the sandwiches were also not cut in 1/2 like we ask every time. And finally, the bread was surprisingly chewy. Not a good chewy but a slightly soggy chewy.

All in all, the experience was worth the try but I think we would both prefer to just go in from now on. Hope to see great things In the future...

I love there food. Last visit I got Two sandwiches, two chips, and 4 kickin ranch. Got it for carryout and used the noble app to order ahead of time. Picked up my order, got to the car and checked the bag. They had forgotten two of the sauces, went back in and they happily handed me two more and apologized for the mistake. Get the food home, had order a roast beef sandwich and a ham and bacon sandwich. Roast beef was correct, the other sandwich was a chicken or tuna, not really sure. Definitely not what we ordered. We also asked for both sandwiches to be cut in half. Both were not cut. I didn't call about the mix up because we just wanted to have dinner and not go making calls or go back for new food. My wife picked up Jimmy John's on her way home at the Monticello Jimmy John's and ordered a Turkey Tom and a number 10 Hunters Club sandwich.  I was about to enjoy what was a roast beef sandwich, but  I had no meat in my sandwich!  Apparently making sandwiches correctly is a difficult task.   Called the store and inquired as to why my sandwich had no meat on it. I asked to speak with the manager and they put me on hold and never picked up.  I waited 10 minutes and then hung up. I guess the manager was too busy to handle a customer concern.   I would not recommend eating at this Jimmy John's unless you want your sandwich screwed up.  They obviously could care less about the customer as they view us as expendable.  Jersey Mike's for us...
