The time was 4:40pm 8/27/2019 I walk in to order a Carmel frappe no whip cream and a medium fry as I have done many a time at other locations. As the camel flavor mixes well with the flavor of the French fries in my mouth, tasting really similar to a sausage egg and cheese mcgriddle. The nice register lady struggles as she hits mocha frappe instead of carmel. And me not realizing it till after the transaction has concluded and she hands me my receipt, but before it concludes, shas she asks me before continuing "no whip cream?". As I confirm that question, she asks me "anything else?", I say "just the medium fry:. She punches It in. After the transaction I stand against the wall across from the counter waiting. I move my foot after standing for a minuet, a sticky noise and sensation follows as my foot lifts off the ground. Once I'm done shigrinning about my now sticky soul, I Look up to notice 3 orders on the drive through screen and 2 on the inside order screen the second order being mine. The manager bagging food orders the machine to make my mocha frappe before disappearing to the back of the store for a few minuets. All the while the register lady plays with a box on the front counter before she disappears to the back for a bit. She returns before the manager does. As the manager finally approaches the front of the store, he orders the frappe machine to make another frappe, he continues bagging food and chatting with his co-workers in the grill area, with no haste to the things he was doing. Throughout this ordeal he looked at the inside order screen about 7 times as he clears one order at a time for drive through, never once taking any consielderation to assembling any of the two components to my order. As he continues to chat and socialize, he found his way to assembling my frappe, he manages to miss the multiple tell tale signs Mcdonalds has set in place to keep this kind of thing from happening that he shouldn't put whip cream on my frappe. He walks over the the in store order screen with my frappe and sets it on the stack of trays sitting next to the heated landing zone, looks at the screen once again, sees he needs to bag my fry, and so he socializes again before finally deciding he better bag those fries. As he bags my fry, he walks back over to the screen to clear the order, he somehow manages to miss the no whip cream once again! He clears the order and sets it on the front counter and calls my number. Me willing to try my first mocha frappe to see if there was maybe something I was missing out on in the world. I take my first sip, only to be let down by a weak chocolate flavor instead of their deliciousm Carmel is so much better, and even better without which whip cream. I make my way to the door, with one of my sandles making that sticky noise all the way out of the building that I didn't walk into the building with. I don't know that I'll return to this McDonalds as it seems as though, most of the employees enjoying a non busy period, would rather socialize than make sure they get a simple 2 piece order out the door in...
Read moreI stopped at this particular McDonald's at 11:30 on Tuesday. I ordered my food from a pleasant young man, he gave me a cup to fill up my Coke and when I returned there were bags on the counter. I approached the counter and asked if one of these was my particular order. The manager of the store told me that the order up was 303. I informed her I was never given a receipt and asked her to check if that was my meal. She gave me this blank stare, obvious that I was annoying her, then she turned her back to me and acted like I wasn't there. I asked her again if she would look in the bag to see if that was my meal⌠If this was someone else's order, I would not want someone rifling through my food until they found their order. When she refused to acknowledge my request I asked for the manager. She turned and told me that she was The manager and then again, turned her back on me. So I went inside the bag to confirm this was indeed my meal. I informed her that this was no way to treat a customer and that she was leading a poor example in front of the many employees that were not aware of the situation. She then told me not to be so loud. I have a low, strong voice, I always have but I informed her that I was in no way raising my voice. Then a very pleasant woman, blonde hair and in her 50s, sorry I didn't catch your name, approached me and I asked if she was the manager or this other woman was indeed the manager. She asked what was wrong and I explain this to work in detail. She carried herself with authority, dignity and grace and asked me to step aside so that we could discuss this situation. I told her the way it was completely and she handled herself perfectly. On a side note, I'm an older man, retired and have hired and fired hundreds of people in my life. I've been a chief operations officer and eventually a branch manager before retiring. This blonde woman in her 50s is exactly the type of person I would want managing one of my teams. The existing manager you have been there, if she was a team leader for me, I would be mowed her and retrain her if possible. If she could not learn how to treat customers and situations that arise better than she did today, I would have her scrubbing toilets until she quit. You have the wrong person in place as a manager. And again, the woman in her 50s with blond hair is exactly the type of manager I would want on my team. I will never stop at the store again. I would love to discuss this on the phone with the franchise...
Read moreThis review is for last night. Order #607! I ordered 3 shamrock shakes and wanted a frozen blue raspberry drink. I also ordered a total of just under $50 worth of McDonalds food. I was told by a lower level McDonalds associate that my blue drink wasn't available. Would I like a substitute. It caught me off guard, so I just quickly answered another shamrock shake. I didn't care what size the beverage was. I didn't really pay attention to my full ordered. The meal the blue drink corresponded with had a large drink. The manager on staff got upset and made a scene about the large shamrock shake not being the same value as the blue drink. The manger made a point to tell the employee. Then the staff. Then found me, waiting for my $50 McDonalds order, to tell me the large blue drink and the shamrock shake were not an equal solution. Now I was still caught off guard, so again I answered quickly and didn't mind or care too much. As I got my $50 worth of McDonalds order and proceeded to leave. I heard the manager telling the staff again, the shamrock shake wasn't equal to the frozen blue raspberry drink. In closing or the point of this negative review. I felt embarrassed by management making a huge deal over a McDonalds issue. I ordered $50 worth of McDonalds. McDonalds wasn't able to complete my order. McDonalds staff tried to help fix the issue. McDonalds management made the experience unsatisfactory. I didn't care about the $2 or $3 difference between what I ordered and what could've fixed the McDonalds issue. I don't need or want anything. I just want the manager from last night to think about good customer service skills. Again, I didn't create the problem. I ordered $50 worth of McDonalds. I should've been...
