Fell in LOVE this morning. Best Heuvos Rancheros I’ve ever had. Flavorful red sauce, perfectly runny eggs, and the refried beans! All of it was amazing. I’m not from Montpelier and only stumbled upon this gem on accident while looking for a place to get a drink nearby, during an emergency DMV trip. I may have went a LITTLE crazy and ordered two slices of Tres Leche and some flan as well as Horchata and Hibiscus Agua Fresca to share with family. BEST. HORCHATA. EVER. I will definitely make the 45 minute drive just for more Arandas.

It’s a gas station, it’s a Mexican restaurant, it’s an awakening. Aranadas quesabirria tacos took me to another planet or another country….as I bite in I’m immersed into the heart of Mexican culture. It’s the type of place you go when you’re starving and leave satisfied and smiling. It’s not the snack that smiles back at this gas station…It’s the meal.

Absolutely disgusting, kitchen was completely unsanitary. To be honest I’m not sure how these folks justify calling this authentic Hispanic or even food. I order a Brea burrito and even specified by asking if it was the shredded braised beef. What I received was an absolutely inedible ground beef burrito that was so freezer burned it tasted like sucking on a pocket full of pennies. When I told the waitress that this was not what i ordered she rudely snapped back by saying that “well at least it’s beef” and told me if I’d like what I had ordered originally I could reorder however would have to pay for another meal. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Do not recommend if you are in Montpellier area or are looking for...

Arandas has been the best Mexican food I've had in a long time including the trips I've been on to Mexico the past few years. The order itself took a total of 12 minutes and was so hot I burnt my mouth. EVERYTHING was seasoned well. A wonderful blend of sweet, salty, and spicy without being overwhelming. The place was extremely clean with an open kitchen. Though informal Arandas has truly been the best restaurant in Vermont we have gone to. The price in total is fair. You can't even leave a fast food chain without spending under $20. The price compared to the type of food and taste of food is unmatched though.Please ignore the negative reviews. It...

Food is OK. Edible but clearly cheap ingredients wrapped up and deep fried. WAY overpriced for what it is.

Edit in reply to Aranda's apology: I bought a chimichanga and two chicken flautas. Price rang up at 18.60. My stomach was churning afterward from how greasy it was, but I wouldn't have left a bad review if the total had come out to less than $15. A good price point for what I bought would have been 8-9, reasonable would have been 12-13, and the high end of reasonable would have been 15. You make your own fillings? Great! There wasn't much to be found in my food, which was 80% fried tortilla; that would have been fine... at a more reasonable...
