Johnny Rockets — Restaurant in Montville

My boyfriend and I went here Sunday July 28th around 9pm. I can't even tell you how annoyed we were at the service that we received. We got seated quickly, but our wait for food was RIDICULOUS !!! Was not busy in my opinion. Our waitress was rude and didn't seem to care. There was a couple sitting across from us who were having an issue with their bill and she didn't seem to care. She ignored them and buried her head in the cash register computer like she was reading a book! Now mind you, this couple waited and waited and finally asked for a Manager... But no Manager came to see them even though I am pretty sure the manager was 2 steps away from them! Finally, the waitress was able to get them some kind of compensation for the horrible service she gave them.

When it came to our meal, I ordered a double burger without cheese and barbecue sauce on the side! My burger came out wrong.... was not a double burger and had cheese and no bbq sauce!!! The waitress argued with me and said I did not say a double burger she repeated this over and over so I repeated her back over and over exactly what I ordered!!! On top of it we got tater tots first which should have come with my burger and our chili cheese fries tasted like something that came out of a microwave!! I will give credit to the burger cook because the burgers were AWESOME !!!! Yes, I ate mine because I was not going to wait an hour to get another burger! My boyfriend's burger was not correct he got onion rings on his burger and he wanted just regular onion!!! I'm not going to go on and on all I can say is we were compensated a little bit on the bill, but serious..... the whole meal should have been comped!!! The wait, the rudeness... we couldn't even find our waitress at times to ask her where a meal was or why my burger was wrong! I actually thought she had left for the night that's how long we were waiting! And this was my birthday weekend at the casino and wanted to eat somewhere else, but because the casino closes everything so darn early on Sunday we ended up at Johnny Rockets which was a big mistake!!!! What's really sad is Johnny Rockets is a very famous restaurant and it's pretty sad when you have bad service like this. One last thing I want to point out is that I'm pretty sure the manager was 2 ft away from us and the other couple and she didn't even walk out to apologize. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's had a problem with this place as I look at the other reviews so someone needs to look at how the service is being done here. But I know I probably won't be back to that...

I went there last night with my wife and We got the chicken tenders with cheese fries. Now I’m a regular and she is too. when ever we come to Mohegan we always get dinner at Johnny’s and always get a banana chocolate shake. Well we haven’t been here in a while do to family issues. So the first thing the gentleman that took are order didn’t do right was give me my change back it was like 3 dollars it was the tip I planed on giving him but I had to ask for it because. It wasn’t giving to me. Then we left went up stairs once to are room we sat down to eat we opened the cheese fries and the melted cheese wasn’t melted it was hard which I found to be really weird. Then my wife opened her tenders up and we notice right away they were not the tender we loved so much I honestly thought it was frozen fish that was deep-fried to the chicken pieces were frozen together and they were put into the deep fryer that way so one whole side of each chicken never got cooked I opened up my chicken in the same thing the old chicken they had it was real chicken this stuff was processed gross worse than chicken nuggets you get from Walmart I spent 40 dollars. Neither my wife or myself ate it then I called up the manager to let them now and they told me they couldn’t reimburse my money and that I would have to call that district manager Christian which I plan to call because I want my money back but this is just completely absurd!!! Who ever made the choice to change the chicken should be fired. I want the old chicken back along with...

Today(August 24,2023) was the first time in a long time that I came back to Johnny Rockets, I haven't been going there prior to today due to previous rudeness with the staff, but anyways I wanted some of Jonney rockets food which is one of my fav's in Mohegan, so I thought what the hell, let me give it another try. My experience today with there staff was one of the rudest encounters I had with what are supposed to be "professional, polite staff" nope I got the complete opposite...and guys this was only about a 8 minute encounter because I got to go food, I didn't want to go in there & buy a whole 2 meals and waste my money due to my last bad experience here, food is awesome! Johnny rockets Staff on the other hand is one of the worst restaurant encounters... Honestly to me, it's not even worth having to deal with there staff & leave there so fustrated for the food. I will not be going back for a while again now....and I used to eat here every week just about smh. (Darker Spanish/skinny girl at the front register && older chubby blonde lady as a host/server were absolutely unprofessional & didn't even acknowledge I was there at first, they were playing on one of there phones, and I HAD to wait on THEM to finish scrolling and laughing, she never once said said thank you, have a good day, I said have a good day to her & she STILL didn't say anything to me and walked away) JOHNNY ROCKETS PLEASE HIRE BETTER MORE PROFESSIONAL & NOT RUDE WORKERS BECAUSE THIS WAS AWFUL EXPERIENCE AND I WILL NOT BE BACK ANYTIME...
