We made a reservation the night before knowing it would be busy due to a football playoff game. The host asked us if we'd be staying for the game and we said yes. They said they would note our reservation. When we got there we were told out table was ready but then suddenly we had to wait. Turns out they gave our table to someone else who was complaining at the counter. Nothing was said, no apology, nothing. When we were seated (after a 10 minute wait) our waitress, Emily, was amazing. We ordered drinks and told her we'd be staying for the game and she told us to relax and take our time. There were only three of us. The mixed drinks were delicious and when we got our salads and appetizer they too were great. We ordered another round of drinks which were just as good as the first round. Emily checked in periodically but she was not overwhelming. We decided to order our meals around 930p and when they came out they looked good. The fried chicken sandwich was tasty and the roasted chicken with asparagus and mashed potatoes was well done. The Rice Bowl was edible but not quite what was expected. It was more like a sweet and sour dish rather than teriyaki. As soon as we got our meal the hostess began doing rounds and kept looking at our table. Then we saw her say something to our waitress. We heard our waitress tell her "they are here for the game" and then she walked away angry. We made sure we took care of our waitress as we were there for nearly 4 hours and she was amazing (even if the...
Read moreI have been to this casino multiple times, ive been to almost every restaurant, went to the steakhouse in january we loved it, my husband and I decided to come here to the MJ23 sports bar and grill yesterday 04/17/25. We ordered the big pretzel and garlic bread. Amazing, my husband ordered the big mike burger and I ordered the bbq ribs, the moment I put a rib in my mouth it was just OFF. It was very bland and it was cold compared to the rest of the food. I mentioned it to my husband and he told me maybe it was ready first before the rest of my food. The whole night after that I was super uncomfortable, my chest felt very full and I had horrible acid reflux, I couldn’t sleep. Out of no where I ran to the bathroom and started profusely vomitting and it was all the ribs, I tasted it coming out and there was unprocessed chunks, then I had horrible diahrrea. I have never in my life experienced food poisoning until this day. I ran downstairs to the shop grabbed some pepcid, pepto and some imodium. I woke up my husband and told him we might have to go to the ER which I wanted to avoid as im not from the area. I drank alot of water and tried to stay hydrated. I didn’t end up falling asleep until 7am, and I missed a day of work where i was super nauseous, exhausted, dehydrated and my stomach was queasy and crampy the entire day. This was a horrible first time experience. I unfortunately moving forward will totally avoid...
Read moreMixed review. Been going here for more than decade, both sports bar and restaurant. And they broke a record for me tonight, in the 40 years eating out. I and nobody else in our party of 4 ever seen appetizer and main course come out so close together. I had to stop the dinner delivery because we just picked up our fork for the appetizer. And for a Michael Jordan restaurant it was a shock...even if was Chili's it was so close they wouldn't have done it. The shock is that someone in the kitchen knew and still pushed it out at same time. There's no room on the table so delivery guy stood there in total surprise. Maybe a 3 minute difference in delivery time between appetizer and dinner.
So our main course was luke warm. Waiter disappeared after that and we were the table with the screw up. Nobody had the backbone to apologize or explain, just walk around hoping not to notice. Food was good other than luke warm under lamps while we ate appetizer.
It was a shame. Not the Michael Jordans i remember...now just another restaurant with superstar name and second string operation that will hide in corner with mistake...while asking superstar price. Will i go back...maybe but there are other great restaurants doing a top job that deserve shot before going back. I doubt be back...just not the same, kind of died...
