We ate here on Friday 8/16- I placed an order in advance for take out and arrived to pay and pick it up. It was very apparent that the restaurant has gone downhill tremendously. The restaurant smelled of sewage, the store was very dirty, all the menus were turned off with the exception of one small tablet type menu at the counter, the two employees that were working had a very bad attitude, especially the young lady who was cooking in the kitchen. She kept yelling at the gentleman who was working the register, she was banging things around, they both were complaining about orders as everyone was waiting for their food. I'm pretty certain our food didn't have the correct ingredients because the items we ordered needed honey and she yelled at the gentleman about being out. At one point, one of them was talking about taking money out of the drawer. Our food was ridiculously expensive, we were not given the b1g1 deal that was advertised online, the employees didn't seem to know the prices of anything, the lady in the kitchen knew some, but then was like "I don't know I think it's $20 so just ring it up $20, whatever". The food was absolutely subpar in comparison to what it used to be, it wasn't as good, the flavor was not there, the food wasn't very fresh, my kid's food was cold by the time we got it. We won't be back at all. Sad, because this place...
Read moreWe took a detour to our destination to go here for lunch after seeing reviews on social media. I really wanted to like this place. It was not the Louisiana Cajun we were hoping for though. I also understand the chef can’t be at both his locations at same time so that may have had something to do with our visit. They were out of the spicy reaper wing sauce my husband wanted and we were told they no longer offer the 10 piece wing combo even though it shows on the online menu. Chicken and Shrimp Rasta Pasta - also included sausage. Chicken was way over cooked and dry. Shrimp was cooked perfect. I understand why they cook them with the tails on but wish they would’ve taken them off before tossing in the sauce. Made it hard to eat especially with only a flimsy plastic fork to try to take the tail off with. Sauce had a good taste but in my opinion needed more spice. Hubby ended up getting a hamburger, wings and sauced fries. He asked to substitute the fries for red beans and rice but was told no. He said the wings barely had any seasoning and he probably would’ve really enjoyed them if they had the seasoning he had wanted. Hamburger was nothing special. The fries were so under cooked they were almost raw and went uneaten. We may try the OKC location if we...
Read moreI see the potential in this place but my husband and I had a terrible experience. We waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken, which I work in the food service industry so I understand they could be busy, but, there was only two other people in the restaurant. The woman behind the counter was very rude and acted as if we were inconveniencing her.. After placing our order we sat down and over heard one of the patrons say they had already been waiting an hour for their order, but the food was worth it. The menu did say its worth the wait. An hour and twenty minutes passed and we finally received order food. We each got the four wing pasta and fry comb. My wings were ungodly dry which was the opposite of the fries and pasta. Fries were a soupy mess, the pasta was so over cooked I couldn't use my fork to pick it up. On top of the overdoness, everything was under seasoned. Which didn't make sense with the mound of seasonings on top.My husband's wings were way better cooked them mine but the pasta and fries were the same. After seeing so many good reviews I am beyond disappointed with this experience. I also have to add that the whole place was dingy and dusty, with an...
