I saw an ad for the spicy nuggets and I was very interested in trying them out. I ordered on the app and the process went smoothly. On the app, it gives you 3 options on how to receive the food: curbside, restaurant or drive thru. Since there was no one in line at the drive thru, I chose that option. This happened around 9:40pm. I get to the speaker and it takes one minute for them to even answer. The person on the speaker tells me to pull up to the second window when I tell them I have an online order. They ask me if I'm with doordash, and I tell the african american girl that I ordered through the app. She continues to ask me if i ordered through doordash. She then closes the drive thru window and talks to someone across the kitchen. She didn't close the window all the way and I could hear what she was saying. She was telling them my responses with a sarcastic tone. I got the impression that they thought I was pretending to be a doordash driver for free food. Then she asked for my name and I told her it. I have a Hispanic name that is pronounced Hi~may. I gave up and told her it was spelled like the female name. Eventually, they finally found it and then asked me to pull up. When someone came to drop off my food, I informed them that I could hear their conversations and I didnt appreciate it what was said. The blonde lady, with the half shaven head, just responded with "You can?" I learned my lesson to never come to this location ever again. I thought it would be an easy experience and I would be in and out in no time. Please don't bad mouth your customers when you aren't experienced with the online process. To top it off, the fries were soggy and the...
Read moreDisappointed and surprised. Had a myM rewards code to use on a meal for my daughters. I gave the code at ordering in drive-thru. After getting their Happy Meals, I decided to get the 2 for $2.50 sandwiches. When the guy gave me my total, I asked about the $5 off $10 code I gave him. He said he didn’t know why and to drive forward. He proceeded to charge me the $14 and I ask again why didn’t the code apply, if it was the 2 for 2.50, I’ll take one sandwich off! The manager took about 2 min to arrive which is forever in a drive-thru. She said the code can’t be used again, so I asked if she could just refund the $5 and we’d be square. She said no, so I asked for a refund and that I would take my girls to Braums. Her response, “WELL YOU CANT USE THE CODE OVER THERE EITHER.” Hey, lady…if I’m gonna spent $14 on kids meals…I’ll get quality and go wherever TF I want. Not sure why a McDonalds manager thinks that sarcasm towards customers is appropriate.
On a subsequent visit, I ordered a single kids burger Happy Meal through my McDonalds app for curbside pickup. Within 3 minutes I checked in the parking space and was happy with decision since there were 8 cars in the drive thru. After 10 minutes and all drive thru cars were serviced, someone finally delivered the happy meal. NOT HOW ITS SUPPOSE TO WORK, PEOPLE. Literally 20 seconds to put together a happy meal, dry burger, fries, sprite no ice. Shameful…I’m telling my 3yr old that despite her wishes to have a happy meal…I will not allow this place to waste anymore of my...
Read moreCame through the drive thru. Made a mistake between the double cheeseburger and the McDouble. After the cashier told me they were the same. The manager told me she couldn’t swap out the item and have me pay the difference whilst I was in the drive thru. Which I believe was only a ten cent difference. I then asked if I could just buy the item. She refused that suggestion. So, I came inside. Stood at the counter while I was ignored for several min. I asked if anyone was going to assist me and the manager proceeded to tell me that the people in the drive thru were there first. Actually, I was already a customer in the drive thru line. Now, I’ve come inside and you are still refusing to assist me. Also this line is independent from the drive thru line. She then told me, “can’t you see we’re short handed”. No, I don’t know that. Sympathetic, but you can’t refuse customer service. She then asked her coworker for a piece of cheese, without any gloves and was going to just hand it to me. At that point I just asked for a full refund. She refused to help me again. I said all this over 10 cents. She then said to me, “you say that like it’s nothing”. As if I’m trying to scam McDonalds out of 10 cents! “I made it clear I’d pay the difference”. She then gets prickly with another customer in the drive thru and then finally walks over to the counter to take care of the refund. It took her less than 2 min. They are so short handed, the manager thought it was best to prolong a resolution....
