Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Moorpark

Ordered pickup. Arrived at the estimated time (~30 min after order). Still waited another 15 min or so for the food to be ready. The environment reminds me of a mix of cpk if it had a small arcade.

Not sure if the girl was new but the customer service was iffy. While i was waiting for my food the cashier wandered off and started cleaning tables, but there were still three people in line behind me in line. It was a few minutes before the cook seemed to notice and what I assume was the manager poked his head out from the back.

The pizza was passable but not great. Did have a decent amount of toppings though. Chicken fingers were decent but also not great. Sauces for both chicken and pizza seem rather acidic. Watch out of you get heartburn easily. The chirros were soggy/mushy and not well cooked or seasoned. No sauce was provided despite ordering it.

Also ordered the 4 pack of sodas but it was not received. Called to get a refund and was put on hold for 10-15 min by the girl that answered before a manager picked up and said he would refund it without asking for any order information. Maybe I was the only one to order that that day? Hopefully he will follow through.

I really wanted this to be good but I don't think I can recommend this place...

Good service and food, however the pizza and salad bar were just okay.

The pizza has a good sauce and decent ingredients, but not as flavorful as I would have liked. Note this is a thick crust and not thin, which I prefer. The salad bar was awkward as the sneeze guard prevents those of us with short arms from reaching the last row of the selections without squeezing against the guard and then just barely able to reach.

Fantastic. First time today and exceeded expectations. Lunch special with salad bar for a great price. Offer to make a cheese pizza for our toddler went above and beyond. Beer options and $7 price for Madewest, Enegrens and Liquid Candy. Chicken club pizza and the BBQ pineapple was fantastic. Probably the best service in Moorpark. Will definitely be a...
