I am sad to share this review because Texas Roadhouse is my favorite restaurant. Saturday evening 8/19/23 my family and I visited Texas Roadhouse for my Birthday Dinner( a party of 4) Our waitress Julia was very nice, not too attentive but nice. She took our orders for our drinks. We let her know that we were ready to order; we placed our order. It took 45 minutes to get our order. We questioned our waitress several times about our food. She proceeded to say that she didn’t know what happened that she would go back and check with the cooks to see if our food was up. keep in mind three or four tables were seated after us, and their food was delivered to them within 15 minutes. We still have not gotten ours. Julia said that she would send a manager to speak with us about our food being 45 minutes late. finally, the manager came and spoke with us. His name was Marcus. We proceeded to explain to Marcus that it was unacceptable that we had to wait 45 mins and still did not receive our food. He did not take accountability. The first thing he said was what did you order? It could’ve been the temperature of the food that is holding up your order the reason is taking so long. I told him that I’m looking at other tables that came in after us, and they have steaks as well. I ordered a 20oz ribeye, medium well, when we did finally receive our food, my steak was cooked well done. Marcus stepped away and never came back. There’s really no excuse he did not take accountability at all. Finally, Julia said she would bring another manager. Daniel, the manager came and spoke with us. He apologized he took 20% off of our bill and gave us a ticket for $20 off our next meal. Please note that Daniel, the manager himself said that we were the third complaint about Mr. Marcus. Not that we expected them to refund us anything or comp us anything because I still wanted my food. Daniel was very apologetic, took accountability and even apologize for Marcus. Rude behavior. Being a human resources, Director I would not want Marcus to lose his livelihood, but what I do suggest is that Marcus be coached and counseled one how to except accountability as a manager. I believe that Marcus would be an amazing manager if he went into a few managerial classes dealing with the customer. Thank you Marcus for screwing up my birthday dinner that I was so looking forward to . The reason it took so long for me to write, this review is because I was so upset and I didn’t want to sound like it. My apologies...

The famous Texas Roadhouse franchise has made its way to Riverside County, conveniently located near the 215 and 60 freeways. Its popularity is clear—whether you’re arriving during peak hours or not, expect to see groups waiting for tables. I visited on a Monday around 4 p.m., well before dinner rush, and while solo seating was available quickly, larger groups were still waiting. If you’re planning a weekend visit, I’d highly recommend joining the waitlist through their app before leaving home to save time.
As soon as you sit down, you’re greeted with their iconic fresh-baked bread and cinnamon butter—a highlight of the meal. Pro tip: don’t hesitate to ask for a box of bread to-go after your meal; it’s well worth it.
The restaurant also offers Early Dine specials from Monday through Thursday before 5 p.m., which can be a good way to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank.
For the main course, I tried the 6 oz Sirloin steak, a staple on the menu. Cooked medium, it was juicy and tender, and adding sautéed mushrooms and fried onions gave it extra depth of flavor. While tasty, the price felt a bit higher than expected. Meals come with two sides, with options like steak fries, house or Caesar salad, butter corn, and steamed vegetables. I went with the butter corn, which was hearty and flavorful, and the steamed broccoli, which leaned on the salty side. If you’re dining family-style, the grilled shrimp makes a solid shared dish.
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with Texas-themed décor and plenty of TVs showing sports games. Staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to the overall positive experience.
That said, long wait times and slight inconsistencies in food quality can temper expectations. Still, if you go during weekday afternoons, you can take advantage of their specials and avoid the long waits.
Final Thoughts Texas Roadhouse in Moreno Valley is a solid choice for classic American steakhouse dining. Between the famous bread, well-cooked steaks, and lively atmosphere, it delivers on comfort food and family dining. Just plan ahead if you’re visiting on weekends.

Read moreWe went for our anniversary last Friday. The wait was 50 minutes. The front entry way was really crowded. We asked if we could wait in the bar area. It was explained that we could. The bar was full so we sat at a table in the bar corral. We have never been here before and assumed we could sit there. Long story short after 30 minutes they came and said we couldn't sit there but could walk up to the bar and order our drinks. We ordered our drinks and walked back to the door area. Which was still crowded so we decided to stand between a chalked area. Which was really big and spaced out. We were than told we couldn't wait there unless our numbers were called. Again first time here and we don't go out to much so maybe we were naive or just not thinking. Anyways we were finally able to wait in the room next two the front door. We hung out in there for about 30 minutes. Once we received our text message to proceed to the waiting area "Huge chalked boxes" that we accidentally stood in earlier. Once we are there in the box no one is in the other boxes. We assumed we would be seated next but after a few minutes two groups came and stood in the boxes next to us. They were taken to there seats before us. We felt some type of way but didn't want to spoil our evening so we went with it. A young lady came and tried to sit us in a small booth but, she asked us first if this was okay. At which time I asked if we could get a bigger booth. She had us sit in the booth and explained she needed permission to sit us elsewhere. So we waited and she came back and took us to another booth. Again already not impressed but did what was asked. She took us to a booth that was much bigger but the seats were wet. Again not trying to make a stink so we took it. The food was good with the exception of my steak. I ordered medium which stated in the menu would be a little pink. It was not pink at all and was dry. The blooming onion and dipping sauce...
