Rosy's At The Beach — Restaurant in Morgan Hill

We last visited Rosy's several years ago and were underwhelmed. We recently saw them advertising crab season so we thought we'd give them another try. tldr: We left just as disappointed this time because everything was boring.

We ordered the ahi poke to share and we both ordered the crab linguine as an entree. My son got the fish and chips. The ahi poke was delicious -- very flavorful and fresh! I would totally order this again. However, both linguines were extremely bland and under seasoned. We tried to use salt and parmesan cheese to save the dish but in the end, there was no saving it. There was a fair amount of large chunks of crab but we both agreed the dish was disappointing. My son's fish and chips were mostly breading. The total for everything was $117 and honestly, it was worth about $80-$85. I have a hard time believing we got $30 worth of crab.

Wait staff reviews were mixed: our waitress disappeared for long periods of time and when we asked her about some of the menu items she didn't really have an opinion because she hadn't tried them. The other thing that I thought was fairly unprofessional was that the menus we were given had the pages stained with food from other diners. Come on, have some pride - this is basic stuff.

I liked the fact that they had beer from Kelly's and wine from LUV vineyards (which I had). My wife said her lychee martini was "boring." My overall advice is cut the menu size and focus on a handful of dishes and excel at those.

Best Restaurant In Morgan Hill ! I had the pleasure of dining at Rosy’s at the Beach yesterday, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Located in the beautiful town of Morgan Hill, this restaurant has quickly become my favorite dining spot in the area. From the delectable food to the fantastic service, Rosy’s truly exceeded my expectations. Upon entering the restaurant, the welcoming ambience immediately caught my attention. The coastal-themed decor, combined with soothing music, created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. We had a great Dining experience with my family. Our waiter, Courtney, was an absolute delight. She provided attentive and friendly service throughout our meal, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Now, let's talk about the food. Every dish we ordered was a masterpiece. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was impressive. From the appetizers to the desserts, each bite was a delight. The chefs at Rosy’s truly have a talent for creating memorable culinary experiences. The loaded Clam Chowder bread🍞 bowl was phenomenal🤤, presentation was on point 😁. The level of temperature could use some help 😕. Mine was a tad under heated and also heard others complain that it was cold. So just ask them to make sure it's piping hot 🔥. I'd rather wait for it to cool down then ask them to reheat it. 😩 Tried the crab🦀 cakes which can be hit or miss.... It was a hit!🎯 I definitely wanted to try the the 🦑calamari but that'll be another time.

The atmosphere was clean and neat! Looked very fancy🤵‍♂️ and welcoming. I went in the morning 🌅 when they opened and we're the 1st one there with a few friends. We all ordered the tik Tok sensation that is going viral haha, I found it on IG.

Server was super polite and jokingly friendly which made us relaxed. I will say, the staff do deal with some very prissy people which you can't do much about other customers but does ruin the vibe🤙. Guess that comes with the territory of a somewhat high scale looking place 🤷‍♂️

I will be back and looking forward to the other items on the menu.

Oh and the mango 🥭 iced tea wasnt super sweet which I loved 😍
