This is the first review I have written. I don’t typically spend time medaling over issues involving restaurants. However, this experience is one of the worst ones I have ever had. I’ve been to this location a few times before and never had an issue until today. I ordered a pick two combination of a sandwich and a salad. I was almost done eating my salad when I saw a hair. It appeared to resemble either a pubic hair or a beard hair. I was immediately disgusted and lost my appetite. I approached the register and let an employee know that I found a hair. I waited until all the guests had ordered so I wouldn’t make a scene or embarrass anybody. I gave the employee the dish to show them. The employee went to their manager and explained what happened. The manger was not surprised. He was down at another register so I heard the conversation. I heard him ask if I wanted a new salad or what was I wanted. She came back to me and asked if I wanted another salad to which I declined. I was then asked if I would like a refund. I had originally just wanted to make them aware of the situation because I am a server at a restaurant and I’ve been in similar circumstances. However, I decided if they were offering a refund then I was going to take it. The employee instructed me to another cashier where the manger and another employee were waiting. NOT ONE TIME DID EITHER THE MANAGER NOR THE EMPLOYEE APLOGIZE FOR THE HAIR IN MY FOOD. The manager never even said hi or acknowledged me at any point. Even though he was instructing the employee on how to award a cash refund while I was standing right there. They only refunded me half of my meal. At that point I didn’t even care. I am extremely disappointed in how this entire ordeal was handled. I felt like I was not a priority as a paying guest. I will not be returning to...
Read moreWe've tried for 3 consecutive days to get some souffles from this location. The first day the manager called us saying "the manager list doesn't say to make them"...even though it's a regular menu item, but ok, they at least let us know before we got there. The second day we tried again, ordering first thing in the morning. We got the email informing us that our order was ready and were informed that they didn't have any after we already drove the whole way in to pick them up. Finally, for this morning, for strike 3, we decided to put in our order last night thinking, surely they can't screw this up. Surely, after multiple refunds, a call to corporate, and a full 12 hours of notice, we should be able to finally get these souffles - now including one for our son that had been looking forward to getting all week. But no, all we were presented with upon arrival were excuses. We didn't order early enough because 8:55pm is apparently after the 9pm cutoff. They had too many pre-orders to have any available for walk-up sale. And again, no explanation for why we again received the "your order is ready" email and no phone call. Just truly abysmal...
Read moreMy family visited this morning for breakfast. We ordered avocado toast (served with brown avocado) I asked them to change it and they did. It was ok. The breakfast egg sandwich was ok and the cinnamon toasted bagel was ok. Coffee was good but a bit bitter. The pecan braid was drenched in icing sugar - could barely eat it. After trying many different locations this morning has turned our family off of Panera.
Our family used to really enjoy going to Panera but it has changed so much over the past few years. The food quality has gone down. The baked goods would lure you into their front doors, but this is no more. The stores are usually poorly maintained and at this particular location the front counter staff didn’t seem to enjoy working there. No good morning, no smile.
I think Panera needs to get back to its original concept and food quality if it’s going to survive.
I don’t recommend this or...
