The new business owner, Jeremy Sizemore, and the new staff have really improved this business over the last few months! Improvements to the facility and product line. High Tide deli now has espresso and coffee drinks. The deli sandwiches are good, however still probably use lower quality average tasting Sysco products. Could improve somewhat here, but still overall edible. The acai, pitaya, and sorbet bowls are tasty. And I enjoy the kombucha drinks. High Tide Deli has a pleasant outside patio area and the staff are pleasant. Great place to grab sandwiches and drinks before heading out to the beach, or before kayaking on the Bay.
Addendum: Almost a year ago when High Tide Deli was purchased, I gave it four Google stars. I have frequently gone back for sandwiches, fresh fruit smoothies, and coffee drinks. And it keeps improving. I really like the continuous quality improvement. So, I'm submitting this addendum and giving High Tide Deli a fifth star. Good work everyone at a Morro...
Read moreMy first time visiting High Tide and my first time having an Acai bowl. I say hell yeh! to the Pro bowl. I also had a coffee (double espresso) since they were serving Spearhead coffee from Paso. Always good and strong. Service is straight forward and prompt. I enjoyed the outside seating area and appreciated being able to have a space to bring my dog. The tables were well spaced and the other patrons were respectful of wearing a face covering and social distancing. My ONLY complaint but not really a complaint so much as an FYI was the table was not clean. Just a few sticky spots from the last patron. I always have my own wipes so not a big deal. I also didn’t bring it to the staffs attention. All in all glad I tried something new and I will definitely return. I highly recommend that you...
Read moreSmoothies weren’t even that good, way overpriced (over 15 bucks for a medium, which is actually a small… Jamba juice’s small is possibly bigger than this definitely no smaller…they don’t even tell how many ounces on the online order menu) and they took forever (over 20min! 😣😩) Taste wise… not a lot of flavor.. again Jamba Juice is way better and for around 10 bucks @ Jamba you get a large, which is a huge smoothie! Even without comparing to the leading smoothie place… my son and I, both were so disappointed with quality, service, size and price! Usually love to promote local small business; on that note …I haven’t tried, but my friend loves their Açaí bowls, and their coffee items seem decently priced.., but if in the market for a smoothie…best Go...
