UPDATE; well... the dream team I mentioned before has been completely dissolved and I've waited months to cycle thru countless replacements before finally posting this final update. I spend about 12$ every time I come in so it's important to me that it gets done right as I go at least 5 times a week minimum. I have to assume that management is the root cause here because I've watched the valued employees that took the time to know my name and master my preferences and treated me like I was special because I came in so often slowly lose their vigor for being there. Even though they rarely got it wrong it was obvious they didn't feel appreciated for their efforts and eventually bailed for something better one by one. Now going at all is a chore and I don't feel like training new people to make my smoothie right every 2 weeks or, thereabouts, so I bought a ninja and started doing it at home. I only came in today as a last control study to stay objective and give proper benefit of doubt. But it seems after all it is also to bid this relationship farewell. Thank you Shanaya and crew for your dedication to customer service and specifically serving me with such excellence. I hope success follows you wherever you go and that you are truly appreciated for the efforts you make in service of those around you. This is literally what is great about our city, people like you! I can say without a doubt that this is the dream team now baby! I can go in any day of the week and walk out with a perfect smoothie every time. The only place in atl I can say that matter of fact like. Team is responsive and intuitive 100% of the time and it feels good when, everywhere I go in fast food it feels tense and like I inconvenienced them showing up, but here they always greet with a smile and make me feel like a part of the team. Hats off to the whole crew! #homeplanet

Edit; Shanaya I think is her name but man that girl is killing it. Came in on a lunch rush and she was all by herself. Though she always recognizes me now and gets my order ready quickly I figured today would be an exception but she was so on the ball and did it with a smile. Got me and 6 other customers taken care of so fast, I just had to shout her out. Keep handling business...

This is one of my favorite places to visit and for good reasons. But I have frustrations that I need to address. I go to the gym in the area. So I come by after a workout for a smoothie. I got the app to expedite the process and also take advantage of the loyalty points. I first had an issue with the app. I already loaded a form of payment so when I tried to purchase an order for pickup up it allowed me to walk thru the entire process only to tell me no form of payment was saved. Didn't have my wallet on me so I went inside the store to order. They looked like they were closing at 7:15 when it says y'all close @ 9. But as I begin to order I asked the young lady do you need to scan my phone for my points as I pull up my phone. She looks at me bewildered and said no. So I finished my order and I asked other lady was mopping the floor. I'm looking for where I can put my number in for my points and only seen the top screen. I figured it's no big deal, I'll just add this purchase later. I pay and as she brings my smoothies I asked how do I add my receipt to the app. The lady mopping said our app doesn't allow you to do that. I was like "I asked if she needed to scan my code and she said no". She said, " we don't have a scanner and you have to ask us about putting the number in for points so we can (do something) so you can put your phone number in. So the app doesn't work properly, the register doesn't work properly, and y'all do ask about points to we can confirm we need to input information. I was peeved. I wanted to make this review after going to Smoothie King, I tried this place first because my family wanted to but I got their smoothie bowl and my mom got a strawberry banana smoothie. The bowl is very large and overall it is very tasty and I liked it, but the actual base is very much smaller than it appears and there is more fruit and other toppings more than the base itself. So if you're a smoothie bowl fan who loves a lot of base, this place (Planet Smoothie) compared to Smoothie King uses way much more toppings than base, while Smoothie King uses a lot more acai base than toppings. Also, it did melt a lot on the way home and we got this when it was dark/ night time and I don't know how they store or freeze their ingredients but it melted pretty quickly. The smoothie was pretty good, it wasn't bad at all.

The cashier sounded a bit confused too when I wanted a smoothie bowl, on their menu it looked as if you can make your own bowl but it seemed like she wanted me to pick the pre-made ones already so I just chose one of those instead

The place is not the very best, it is somewhat dirty and doesn't look too clean. The fridge they have in the front is empty and filled, maybe they just happen to ran out of stock? or it was near closing? I'm not sure, but it didn't seem as professional or clean as Smoothie King.

3 stars for average, maybe 4 if it was cleaner. 4 stars itself for the actual drinks/smoothie bowls though. I just hoped the base was a bit more than...
