GPS took me to the wrong store. I had requested durectiins to Jason's Deli. I was hungry and wanted a salad and went in anyway. Everyone stared at me initially. Cashier/order taker seemed to have a hearing problem. Also told me that drink came with salads in error. The garden salad which I ordered did not. I paid for my salad AND drink separately. When I opened my salad and scraped the cheese aside, I saw that the mushrooms were definitely past their freshness date. They were white mushrooms, not portobello mushrooms. I noticed that they were brown while watching the person prepare my salad. I went back in the restaurant and showed the female who appeared to be in charge of the cashier and who handed out the orders. I told her the mushrooms weren't eatable, that they were slimy. She looked at me and asked if I wanted a salad without mushrooms! I told her no and that I wanted a refund. She instructed the cashier to refund my order, which she did. In the meantime, a short man came to the side of the food prep area where the salad fixings were, and the lady in charge told him of my complaint. He then looked up and stared at me for a moment. It appeared that he was replenishing the fixings. I got my receipt showing the refund, and I left. I then promptly called the Clayton County Department of Health Environmental section, to report the incident. I also took a snapshot of the salad, highlighting the mushrooms. I called back to get the directions for sending the snapshot as proof of the potentially illness causing ingredient. This store is like a 'hole in the wall'. It is small and crowded in the cook and prep area, as well as the customer ordering area. And I'm still wondering why they looked at me so quizzically, like I didn't belong there? I will never be THERE again....

I have to requesting to be compensated because they did not answer their phone when I called back they told me it was not their fault it was door dash is app. The app does not interpreted them the correct description. Door dash was the problem because this happens all the time. I told them they need to correct it with door Dash so they can give a good customer service. Their response was door Dash needed to do it. And the customer needed to call the restaurant to make sure they’re all it was correct. My response was so you’re willing to take peoples money for improper orders and not compensate them or make it right. There were spots was you need to call door Dash and call the restaurant to make sure the order is prepared properly. They did nothing wrong. So they take your money and don’t give you your order right and not trying to make it right by ensuring that the people they use make your customers happy. I made a online purchase for pick up the total was $64.73 , I arrived at the store showed the clerk my ticket and he handed me fries I told him that wasn't my order. Come to find out they gave my order to someone else with the same name. Had me stand there for 15 min as if they were going to remake it and fix THIER MIX UP. Then told me after I asked again how long it was going to take that I would have to REPAY $64.73 in order for them to make my food again I explain my husband just passed away and I have two children I didnt have another $64.73 to give them when it was thier mix up they gave my food to someone that had only order a large fry plate . They gave very poor customer service and didnt make it right so I had my bank to get my money back. I will never Patronize this...
